Summary: Lovely property, ideal for a dog as all enclosed. Great pool area for relaxing, reading and swimming. Magalas about 10 min drive has supermarket, boulangerie and bar, added bonus a railway station for trips to Beziers, Carcassonne and Montpelier. Canyoning was available about 45 mins away. The scenary is breath taking. There are some lovely walks near by up into the hills. Celine and Hubert were great if we had any problems they sorted them straight away. Property is well equipped for all your needs.We paid extra for bedding and sheets so we didnt have to add to our luggage. Would recommend the property.

Summary: We stayed in this property for two weeks. We had bedding and towels provided, and its a gorgeous, rustic French house and pool area. The vineyards are lovely and quiet - perfect for relaxing. It is quite remote so a car is a must if you want to exlpore the surrounding towns. About an hours drive from Montpellier.

Summary: Beautiful old farmhouse from 1850, where the peasant style is abundant. For everyone who loves this, this is a true dream. Nice spacious rooms, plenty of bathrooms, nice swimming pool, pleasant veranda with a view of the vineyards. The silence is a real asset here, and not far from everything. Bakery, butcher and large supermarket between 2 and 5 km. The village of Magalas is not far away, where you can enjoy a nice meal or relax on a terrace. Our only downsides about the farmhouse is that it was not very clean and we missed some comfortable chairs / loungers. For the rest this was perfectly fine. Céline and her family are very friendly people and very hospitable.

Summary: I really wanted to give this lovely French farmhouse a 5/5, but unfortunately I can’t yet. The house itself is the perfect representation of that fantasy farmhouse in Europe. The setting in a working vineyard is spectacular and Celine the owner is super sweet and helpful. However; there are a number of areas that need attention for this to become the dream vacation rental: Sheets, comforters, towels and pool towels need to be supplied as part of the rental. Coming from the US or Canada no one wants to give up luggage space to linens. The house needs a very thorough clean. Ceilings, picture frames, furniture. The space is big, and obviously old, so dust and cobwebs aren’t a surprise but a heavy duty cleaning before each rental would be appreciated The pool wasn’t clean on arrival and it took several days before it was useable The wireless was really slow and unpredictable Celine needs to put together some sort of handbook for the house with information about things like how the wifi works, where and when to put out garbage, how check in and check out is going to work etc. Some kitchen basics: salt, pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar, washing up liquid would be a plus. Most places supply the basics and leave items left by guests (spices, oils, sauces) for the next guests to use. Despite the constructive criticism we would rent here again. Celine really was lovely and took comments and concerns seriously and the house is lovely, spacious, cool and comfortable and well situated for exploring the area.

Summary: There were 6 adults and a baby. Lots of space for us all. Good kitchen facilities although the oven needed getting used to! A good number of bathrooms so no waits for the shower. The swimming pool was great although did attract a few insects, but that maybe because it was so hot. Being an old style farmhouse meant that it was possible to keep cool with the aid of fans. The location although in the middle of vineyards is only five minutes away from a few very good supermarche, butchers and bakery. It suited our family very well and we had a really good time Celina was very helpful and her family are lovely. Visitors need to be aware that you need to bring your own sheets and towels

Summary: We, a family of six with four children aged 7-13, have very much enjoyed our stay in Saint-Martin d'Agel. The private pool area is very nice and we all enjoyed swimming and relaxing there. The house also serves as a well located base for canoeing on the Orb, trips into the mountains and beach days.

Summary: The place is so beautiful, idyllic, it really is as good as it looks. The pool area is a real sun trap and totally private. Great location for shops, market, beach, all not far away yet lovely rural setting around vineyards. The owner celine is so lovely and helpful. Don’t forget there is a 60 euros cleaning charge and a 300 euros deposit that you need to have in cash on arrival as I wasn’t prepared. Also bring your own towels. We can’t wait to come and stay again, it was an amazing holiday and we loved it. Best place to stay for sure.

Summary: A perfect holiday house both in terms of situation and facilities. It was ideally suited in every way to all our needs as we celebrated a special family occasion. The house was charming, very French, with plenty of space and showers etc. so it was well able to accommodate our numbers. The pool and outdoor areas were attractive and spacious. The setting of the property was beautiful, rural and calm amongst the vines - a holiday paradise and great value for money. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and work to ensure a really enjoyable time for their guests. We certainly had an excellent holiday and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a gite in this region.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this charming property. Excellent facilities, peaceful surrounds and very welcoming hosts. We had two weeks with plenty of sunshine and were very grateful for the pool. The supermarket is only a 7 min drive away and beaches around 30 minutes. The caves and gorges in Clamouse are worth a visit. We also chose a day at Aqualand when the French children had returned to school which was a great day out. We intend to return and explore some more.
