Positive: We loved the entire experience from the moment we walked in the door. Check in was fast after a long drive and Elizabeth was so friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect for the 4 of us…kids also loved it.One of our boys left his soft toy in the room and we received an email the next day to advise. Soft toy was mailed to us and one little boy was very very happy to see his toy again…and very excited with the bonus Avocado stickers he received too! Such a lovely touch to his special parcel he received-thank you Elizabeth 🙏🙂

Positive: I had a Standard Queen Room. It was the typical layout for a motel room with the usual facilities including a small fridge, microwave and kettle etc. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The motel is located about a kilometre out of town but there is a Woolworths almost directly across the road. Unfortunately, the motel is located on the main road through Childers so traffic noise was very noticeable.

Negative: In my view, the room was at the higher end of expected cost ($162) for a standard layout motel room and when compared to my next two nights accommodation where I had a full cabin in Maryborough, a major town ($127) and another cabin in Gunalda ($115). Both cabins were fully self contained.

Negative: There wasn’t a door for the shower. I wish there had been one, as I stayed with my son and daughter. I believe the last time we stayed in a different room, there was a door for the shower room.

Positive: Smokers area was great for watching Kangaroos and having afternoon nibblies.. even with smokers there. Rooms were neat..

Negative: No bathroom door. Power point for kettle too high, safety issue. Bed a little to soft...has ruined my back which will need chiro but thats just a given in Motels.. either too hard or too soft.

Summary: Pleasant.saw some roos which made my day.
