Summary: Celebrated our daughter’s wedding! Stayed an extra day to relax and enjoy the view!! Away at the Bay was perfect! So clean, all necessities and then some!! Can tell the owners take great care to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Summary: We had an absolutely great time at the property. We celebrated a 40th birthday party that Ryan pre-decorated for. The kids crabbed and fished their hearts out. It was a wonderful family experience! Looking forward to another chartered boat sunset cruise. We can't wait til next year !

Summary: My friends and I decided to do a well overdue girls weekend to get away from the stresses of life. Away At The Bay was the perfect place to do this. The owner is an awesome host. He left no stone unturned and was very attentive to the details of our trip. Although the pictures of the home are nice online, the home and it's charm is more beautiful in person. I cannot imagine another host being at the same level as what was presented to us. I will definitely utilize this house again as well as refer it to others.

Summary: We’ve rented a lot of homes over the years and this is one of the best! The location is fabulous, the house oozes hospitality and the hosts are amazing! Wine, snacks and gifts for our dogs were waiting on our arrival and the personal touches in every room made for an incredibly warm welcome. We can’t wait to return!

Summary: What a perfect location, right on the Chesapeake Bay! The house is immaculately clean, the decor is fabulous, and the hosts thought of EVERYTHING! They were so very kind and welcoming to our group of friends. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sipping wine on the deck and playing cornhole in the backyard. And the sunset views are just stunning!

Summary: The home was absolutely perfect. My entire family stayed at the home for a long weekend and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly communicative before and during our stay. The home itself was spectacular, from the upscale finishes, to the gorgeous Chesapeake views. The cherry on top was the attention to detail and personalized touches/notes left throughout the home by the host. Can not recommend this property enough!

Summary: Magnificent. The location was fantastic for getting around Kent Island and the wedding. It was good for going to Annapolis and to BWI. The highlight was the house itself and the very thoughtful 'extras' and details that the hosts put together. They had photos that we sent them of the engaged couple. They had a gift bag for the bridal party and suggestions on places to go, things to do, etc. Absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend them enough. My sister - mother of the groom already said that they want to book it again and come back for a week and really get to enjoy the house and location.

Summary: We just got back from a spectacular 4 night stay at Away At The Bay. It was our Mom’s 91st birthday. There were 9 of us and two dogs. I cannot begin to describe how incredible our stay was, and how incredible this house is!!! Ryan has thought of everything. I mean, literally, everything. There was not one thing that might have needed that was not there. The house is large, comfy, beautifully decorated. The amenities are truly un-describable! We also really appreciated that the house was very “green”, with composting, as well as compostable storage bags, natural soaps, etc. If you are looking for a rental on the Chesapeake, this should be your top choice!!!
