4 Bedroom Villa in Chacala

Villas Blancas Dos overlooks the most beautiful beach in the Mexican Riviera, the beach at Chacala, Nayarit. Located in the gated community of Marina Chacala it is just a short 90 minute drive north of Puerto Vallarta. VB2 is part of a 7 villa condominium group within the development of Marina Chacala. There is a pool and palapa available for fiestas pool-side plus common areas for Villas Blancas residents and guests only. Villas Blancas is a great place for family reunions as several of the other villas are also available for rent.
The Villa has 4 bedrooms each with their own full baths: an upstairs Master Bedroom with a king size bed and a single bed; the Pool Room also has a king size bed which can be made up to 2 single beds; the Garden Room has 2 queen beds; and the Entertainment Room has 2 single beds which can be made up to a king. There is a TV with DISH cable and a DVD player in the Master Bedroom and the Entertainment Room.
The main room for gathering together is the large open air palapa covered living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, juicer, blender and other typical amenities.
VB2 is a 5-10 minute walk from two distinctly different beaches. First, at Chacalilla Bay you will find an intimate, private beach and beach club with 3 pools: a lap pool, a large pool and a small wading pool for the little ones. The second beach is the large, public beach on beautiful Chacala Bay. On the beach you will find many restaurants located right in the sand serving fresh sea food, fish, gourmet delicacies, pizza and a host of other choices. A great beach for boogie boarding, body surfing, people watching, shopping from the roving vendors, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Chacala is a small, quaint fishing village with a wide array of activities. From the marina you can arrange for boat trips to go whale watching, fishing, and snorkeling or to take you to great surf breaks. You can drive or hire the local taxi to take you to a nearby archaeological site; drive up to San Blas for bird watching or stop and take a crocodile boat ride. Villas Blancas Dos is the perfect place to relax, soak in the sun, read, swim in the pool, and listen to and watch the amazing array of birds. There are also tennis and pickle ball courts a 10 minute walk away in Marina Chacala.

Summary: Amazing property close to town in gated secure community. Pool was great for kids with a large shallow area. Private beach was spectacular with more pools and some snorkeling options. Very easy, relaxing family vacation.

Summary: Spacious open concept design with a fabulous view of the ocean, mountains and jungle. A short walk to the community pools and small private beach where we spent most afternoons swimming and listening to the surf. The property manager Karla was very welcoming and attentive to our every need. She is very knowledgeable about services in Chacala and even arranged for us to get the required PCR test for COVID before returning to Canada. Marina Chacala is a quiet sanctuary from the noise and heat of the village. We loved our time there and hope to return soon.

Summary: Lovely location sitting in the marina chacala gated community with an open air living and dining area perched looking down at the village of chacala and its curving beach. The house is fine but looks to have not been updated since being built 10-15 years ago. The home is a villa in a condo development with 4-5 other homes areound a shared pool. All of these homes have open air living areas and we had frequent noise from a TV in one of the houses nearby. Noise from the town also drifts up when a band is playing. The sheets were no quality and pillows stained and old. We complained about this after the first night and the property manager Karla saved the day by bringing new bedding. The private beach in marina chacala is lovely but isolated from the town. The town itself is very underdeveloped with dirt roads, potholes and seemingly always muddy sections behind the beach. The contrast between the private development and the town is disturbing. One wonders why all of the expensive homes in Marina chacala can’t help the town a bit more.

Summary: Villa Blanca #2 was great! Large airy rooms, huge palapa living room with views over the town of Chacala, bay and surrounding mountains. Just beautiful watching the moon rise over the mountains in the evening. Our 3 kids loved the pool right outside our palapa and played in it for hours. Short 5 min walk to private Chacalila beach with larger swimming pool, lap pool, shady palm trees. Short 15 walk in the other direction out of Marina Chacala into town. We had a great time.
