Summary: We LOVE this property! We have stayed several times and have plans for many more stays in 2024 and beyond. It’s close enough to every place that we love to go. Laura, the owner, is very attentive and responds immediately if any questions or needs arrive. The house has everything you need, but we barely use the kitchen: just the microwave to heat up our leftovers. 😂😂 We love the addition of the hot tub this year!!! Thanks to our incredible hosts/owners!

Summary: This was a great VRBO experience. Check in was seamless, the house was well stocked, the location was perfect, the beds were comfortable. We rent a lot in this area and we will definitely come back to this one!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The location is great. Quiet dead-end street. Less than 10 minutes to Warren Dunes and only 15 minutes north of New Buffalo. The beach in Harbert is secluded. The cottage is rustic but we felt like it was a good value. Love the fenced-in yard for our dog. We enjoyed the hot tub and screened-in porch. We found a few dead bugs in the bath tub but otherwise the cottage was clean. Love the size of the master bedroom because we put our dog’s crate in our room. The bed is a little soft for our taste and the room gets quite bright in the morning with the skylights. But we didn’t mind waking up early to take the dog for a walk or enjoy coffee on the porch. We enjoyed the beach gear in the garage. With all the DVDs and games it seems the owners have enjoyed a lot of good times there. We left with good memories.

Summary: The cottage was perfect for our party of 8. You really don't need to bring anything other than your clothes. Cottage is stocked with about everything you need. The hot tub was a hit with everyone. And the location is perfect too. Just a short drive to Warren Dunes State Park and the surrounding communities of Sawyer, Union Pier, New Buffalo and others. Lots of great places for shopping and dining. Check-in process was very easy and Laura was very responsive and accommodating with our requests. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Harbor Country.

Summary: This property was very well kept, well-stocked and tidy. Everything was exactly as indicated in description and photos. We had excellent luck with all of the restaurants we chose and people we encountered were friendly and helpful. Laura, the owner of this property was very accommodating when weather delayed our arrival. She promptly responded to texts which was very appreciated. We would like to return in the summer!

Summary: We have been traveling to this area of Michigan for several years. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this home: it has all we need and is close to everything. The fenced in yard is great for our little furries: they can't escape, which they did at another home we had rented. We love Harbert Beach: quiet and peaceful and so close to the house. The beds are so comfortable, and we love the walk in shower in the master. We can't wait to go again in January!

Summary: Spacious and quaint cottage located off the main path in Harbert. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very spacious. We had 8 in our party and there was plenty of room for us without feeling crowded. There were a ton of both indoor and outdoor games and a lovely patio area with chaise lounges during the day and a fire pit at night. The enclosed porch is perfect for morning coffee. We were traveling with our family dog and the fenced in yard was perfect for him to have a safe space to run around. Laura was a great host and very thoughtful in making sure we were comfortable and could easily find things to do. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend both the property and location for a superb lake Michigan experience!

Summary: I like that the check in, very easy. It was very roomy and a well equipped kitchen. We had 2 fireplaces, games and loved the giant jenga. The gated yard was ideal for dogs. I love that is was so private and we could relax, so much different than the city. Good memories and thank you. I hope to return in summer. we had a little rain.
