Summary: Great location. The property is a bit dated but is still impressive. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. The outdoor pool area was the highlight. The staff are very attentive and the views of the ocean behind the pool are amazing. The dinner options were great and reasonably priced. The hot tub and sauna could use some updating.

Summary: Clean decent rooms, good service and some nice facilities. Nice place to relax in Horta. But: The breakfast should be improved (coffee is terrible), there is no tennis court as advertised, the gym is terribly warm, the steam sauna smells of mold and the bar area is uncomfortably warm.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the Azoris Faial Garden hotel. Fabulous views of Pico island and lovely hotel grounds. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and all food clearly labelled for allergens. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Summary: It is annoying that we have to pay for hair caps to use the pool There were cockroaches in the pool area around the jacuzzi. Otherwise it was very nice.
