Summary: Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other projects in this small but wonderful town. He has a great collection of wine that is available for purchase as well. Overall this was our favorite experience in all of our trip to Italy.

Summary: The lovely Villa is well located, with a beautiful view. Our room was unique and very clean. Breakfast was very special and good. The owner is a very pleasant host - thanks for having us.

Summary: Stunning view from Paolo's villa, and excellent serice from him. The rooms were very authentic and comfortable. Location perfect in this small and quiet town with a beautiful little beach. Mille grazie!

Summary: A lovely old house full of works of art and antiquities. Plus points: good situation in terms of getting places, good restaurants nearby, wonderful views, clean house. Paolo, the owner, is very attentive. Not so good: difficult to park, especially when you first arrive, and need to unload. Very steep hills, especially to and from the lakeside, where most of the restaurants are. Breakfasts laid out like a work of art, but could have done with a bit more to eat.

Summary: We stopped at Casa Forster for one night on our honeymoon, traveling through Italy. Of all the places we stayed, this one truly stood out! The owner, Paolo, was incredibly friendly and entertaining - we enjoyed talking to him throughout our stay and he even humored our attempts at jokes in broken Italian. The house itself is gorgeous, he's done a great job decorating with antiques and interesting pieces, and the view from the garden was spectacular. We enjoyed a generous breakfast spread while looking out over the rooftops of Cannero Riviera and a panorama of the lake itself. We didn't want to leave, and now we can't wait to come back!

Summary: Casa Forster is a beautifully restored house with a terriffic view of Lago Maggiore. Cannaro Riviera is 20 minutes north of Stresa in a quiet part of the lake. The owner and host Paolo Luonghi is simply a wonderful person who made us feel completely at home. He is very knowledgeable and directed us to the prime attractions in a very helpful manner. The included breakfast is sumptuous. Everything about Casa Forster is tastefull and artistic, including breakfast. we stayed four nights and were sorry to leave. My wife and I give this place and its host the highest possible recommendation!
