Positive: This B&B is located on one of the best beaches in Sicily if not all of Italy. The water was amazing! This was a quiet beach community so at night things were quiet which we liked and enjoyed. For dinner we went to Sciacca and other nearby towns for restaurants. We chose this location because of its proximity to Agrigento and my family's hometown. Our host and his family were great. We will definitely be staying here again.
Summary: One of the best beaches in Sicily. We will definitely be staying here again.

Positive: right by the beach and Heraclea Minoa's pine and eucaliptus forest; the calm courtyard with its lounge area, its serving area and the bar; our three harmless protectors: Orso, Cicina Divo <3; Acursio, his mom and his nona and their great hospitality; the delicious home-made piadine they serve; the room which was surprisingly big, clean and well laid out, better than rooms at most hotels; bathroom was clean and had a big window for venting; shower cabin was very well isolated; nice porch; you can avoid mosquitoes if you're careful to close the door and make use of the curtains when entering and exiting

Positive: The property is very well located on the beach and very near two good restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable, with good size bathroom which was clean and everything worked well. The hosts were exceptional - very kind and helpful. There is lots of nice outdoor space at the property in the garden with options of different furniture, including also a private terrace with furniture for each room. Our private terrace was very pretty and tranquil, nicely shaded by plants from the garden. There are helpful facilities such as private fridge with each room, places to hang laundry, outside shower area to wash sand after the beach, a bar area with a selection of cold drinks (with alcohol or alcohol-free) and the possibility of some snacks (sandwiches and salads) and coffee at the property. Breakfast was generous, with reasonable selection of traditional pastry and cakes, bread and jams, fresh coffee, juices, yogurt and fresh fruit. There are pets at the property - several friendly dogs and some cats - which we enjoyed.
Negative: If thinking about booking it is worth considering that the property is a little difficult to access without a car (this is not a criticism of the fabulous property, but rather for information about the town of Eraclea Minoa!). Options without a car include taxi from Agrigento or Sciacca (I think โ‚ฌ50-60) or a bus to Montallegro and walk (10km) or taxi to Eraclea (Or sometimes it is possible to make advanced arrangements with the host for transport). However, the host was very helpful in supporting us to navigate the transport. Donโ€™t let this put you off this special property, but be sure to plan your travel in advance!
