Positive: Massimo is the most lovely person that has ever owned a B&B. Is he even real? From the very beginning of my reservation he proved to be so caring as if he we were his only and best guests. This trip was unusual for me as it was the time when my girlfriend was about to become my fiancé. And… guess what? I asked Massimo for some advice concerning good spots and anything else I needed to know to make my plan be working and doable. He helped me with organising the whole proposal and kept the secret! Honestly, we lack words to express the gratitude to Massimo. Not only for helping with the proposal but for the overall effort he put to make us feel most welcome and precious as his guests. This place felt like home with the most hospitable owner. Amazing breakfasts made right away after we went downstairs upon getting up. Massimo also helped us on the beginning of our stay when the bus driver drove away with our luggage. Honestly, if you all want to be well cared for, visit Massimo.
Negative: The only negative thing I could possibly come up with about this stay was that it wasn’t longer! It’s a bit pity that the railway was being rebuilt during our stay and the train connection didn’t function. But that’s not Massimo’s fault, obviously.
Summary: As above, we will surely come back! I can’t imagine going anywhere else while staying by the Como lake.

Positive: We spent five delightful nights in the top‑floor Mozart suite, and loved every moment. The suite not only offers a breathtaking view of the lake but is also spacious and cosy, with a large bed, a generous sofa, and reliable air con that kept us comfortable even during the summer heat. The bathroom and room were impeccably clean, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Massimo is an exceptional host — attentive, thoughtful, and fully committed to making our stay both seamless and enjoyable. The lovely beach, bar and gelateria are literally just steps away. With the hotel’s own beach towels in hand, you can simply pop down and enjoy everything Lake Como has to offer.

An additional bonus was the beautiful view from the windows, which made our mornings and evenings even more enjoyable. Massimo is an exceptionally hospitable and friendly host. He prepared delicious breakfasts every day, paying attention to every detail to make sure we felt comfortable in his home. Positive: We want to really really thank Massimo the owner for the wonderful experience that we had in his home. We have no words to describe how much we love our stay here. You can tell how passionate he is and how much he truly cares about his guests! We can't stop raving about our stay here and we really just want to go back already. We were so sad that we have to leave because Massimo really took great care of us. The room is very clean! Amazing location! Amazing view! and the breakfast OH MY GOODNESS THE BEST!! We are always full every morning and he even gave us breakfast for to-go on the day we had to leave very early for our flight back home. We wish we can go back again. We are so glad we chose to stay here and if you are coming to lake como this is the place to stay!

Positive: We can highly reccomend staying at the B&B appartment. The breakfasts are delicious and the owner is very helpful and supportive at anytime. Appartment for the whole family is big enough and faiŕly equiped with the new kitchen. We had a great time at lake Commo that offers lots of activities and it is very close from the appartment to the beach as well and we could see the beauty of Italian culture and cuisine.

Positive: Massimo was an amazing host. He helped make an unforgettable stay on Lago di Como. This is a great place to stay to have a personal experience. Very clean, fantastic patio view from our suite, and the daily breakfast was delicious. Super short walk to the Olcio train station, but the train was not loud at all.

Positive: We came as guests and we left as friends. Such a privilege to be in his home, and Massimo couldn’t have been more helpful! When we was out and about we could text him and he tried to help best he could. A very nice welcome, rooms perfect size for 2. Bed was very nice. We had a balcony, what more do you need. We hired a car and was well worth it and had space to park in his garage. Only 10 min drive from Varenna, after a day around people it was so nice to come back to peace with a fantastic view and a glass of wine on the balcony. Breakfast was home cooked and theee best bacon I’ve had. Tips: - get a pizza from the local, delivered. - go every day to the gelato shop 1 min walk. - after breakfast leave early, beat the crowds.
Negative: “Massimo only gives good advice” NOTHING!!! Wouldn’t chance a thing.
