Summary: Walking distance to the football stadium Resturants and the train station The twin beds are uncomfortable. The food was excellent and the front desk staff was excellent I felt safe in the neighborhood I would stay there again.

Summary: This hotel looks from the outside like a set from Fawlty Towers, but there the similarity ends. Staff could not have been more friendly, eager to help and accommodating. Our room was situated in a recently refurbished or recently built wing, brand new everything. Well done, fully recommended. Thank you.

Summary: Always stay here when Ipswich area - business and family, this latest stay being the latter. 2 x rooms x 2 nights. 5* overall as a stay however, whereas normally I’m full of praise for staff, this stay felt different. Welcome was perfunctory at best but probably better described as less than friendly. Only one member of staff hit the usual high standards. I did mention to her and she explained that the chap who was particularly miserable doesn’t usually work days and does nights instead. One of his colleagues was equally miserable. My suggestion is that the management team work hard to ensure consistency. It’s nice to feel welcome.

Summary: The hotel was lovely, rooms nice and location convenient. But the best part of the stay was the lovely lady on reception. She went above and beyond. So so friendly which you don’t always get. Would make me recommend this hotel purely based on the staff member.

Summary: Hotel was good especially for the price. Amenities were okay, could be improved. Stains on carpet, but room was clean nevertheless. Staff helpful and polite. Breakfast was poor for the price. Tiny cups for water or juice, literally one sips worth, not ideal to get up for drinks every sip.

Summary: Nice hotel, needs a bit of TLC, bed and shower good which is a win. Fuming at 5am when i had half an hour of what sounded like bin men smashing the car park up!

Summary: Only problem was parking, non-cancellable booking and advised after booking made of £ 10 car park fee, had to pay as could not cancel ! Car registration details not linked to room number so if blocked in, that is how you will stay !
