Positive: Such a stunning place. As soon as you walk through the gate you are transported into tranquility and we absolutely loved it. The decor was so sophisticated and on trend, our room (front suite) was beautiful and so nice to come back to as our base for visiting the city. Both hosts are exceptional and attentive while not intrusive, the breakfast they put on is done with care and attention, the home made yoghurt was absolutely lovely and even the music in the background made it feel all the more special. The outside gardens are perfect and so well kept. To drink some wine by the pool both days we stayed made our trip all the better, and our hosts were kind enough to reserve the hot tub for us on the second night of our stay, which again we loved. For beauty and splendor I cannot recommend this beautiful place and it's amazing hosts enough. Thank you for looking after us.

Positive: I can't imagine a better way to end a two week tour of the Dordogne region than at the beautiful and stylish B&B Le Clos d’Argenson in the historic district of Bergerac. The experience from beginning to end was stellar. We were greeted warmly by one of our three lovely hosts, guided to our private parking spot, helped with the luggage to our spacious, well appointed suite, given a gift of a delicious bottle of wine representing the region, fed with delicious, fresh and varied breakfast items every morning, and given wonderful guidance as to local area historical attractions, chateaux, medieval towns, and vineyards, to visit—a perfect, relaxing B&B that I highly recommend if you happen to be fortunate enough to visit the charming city of Bergerac.
Negative: Absolutely nothing not to like! I wish my French speaking skills were better but even despite that, we communicated very well!
Summary: We loved everything about our stay and hope to return one day!

Positive: Excellent breakfast with plenty of good coffee or choice of teas. Welcome bottle of local wine. Cellar with wine and snacks and honesty box for guests. Elegant period property with large rooms and matching furniture. Lots of objet d'art.
Negative: WC separate from bathroom with no extractor fan. Had to buy own air freshener.

Positive: Very welcoming and full of French ambience with fascinating artwork and antiques throughout the property. Excellent location with only a five minute walk into Bergerac. Wonderful breakfast consisting of homemade and local produce. Very pleasant to sit in the garden with a glass of local wine !
Negative: A shame the hot tub wasn’t working. Our room was quite small. A curtain or screen around the shower area would improve the room. A flat screen tv mounted on the wall rather than the current shelf arrangement would be safer.
Summary: A lovely relaxing stay in a gorgeous property with very welcoming hosts!

Positive: This is a gorgeous hidden gem in the heart of Bergarec with everything you need within walking distance. The pride and joy of the owners and how they look after you is just exceptional. Positive: Great location within a few minutes walk of the old town centre. Parking being provided was a real bonus and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast on the balcony was superb - home made croissants, jams and yogurt!!
