Summary: This property is extraordinarily peaceful, without being too isolated From our very first enquiry, we found dealing with John and Ann to be a very pleasant and friendly experience. The booking process was dealt with extremely efficiently and we were provided with ample information in advance about what to expect and how to find the property. Upon arrival, we were really touched by how welcome we were made to feel. John and Ann are exceptional hosts with a keen eye for detail, and this was evident in the comfort and quality of the property and the way it was presented. The location is extraordinarily peaceful, without being too isolated. Very highly recommended.

Summary: Fantastic, Maison Aliénor is the most fantastic place to stay, it has everything you could want for a totally relaxing get away from it all holiday. The house is in a rural hamlet which gives total peace and quiet, it is lovely to relax on the garden  and just hear the sounds of birds. We had some lovely hot days 30-35 degrees  and the outdoor was nice to have an evening barbecue and enjoy the setting sun The property feels like being at home and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The local town Lalinde is really lovely with a selection of shops and places to eat if you dont want to cook yourself. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a home from home holiday in this part of France.

Summary: MY wife and I had never stayed in a holiday cottage before. Normally hotels near the beach. Our week here at Languais near Bergerac will really change our holiday ideas in the future. Arrived about 20:00 after a short flight from Southampton to Bergerac. Picking up a hire car from the airport. We met Mme Marty at the cottage who showed us around this beautiful house. Everything inside was to a high standard. Kitchen had everything and more you would need including a dish washer. Nice newly fitted shower room.Very comfortable beds. Our host even booked us a table in the restaurant two minutes walk down the road. In the morning we explored the large garden. This includes a long driveway so the car is parked off the road. There is a covered area next to the house with a large table and chairs which I think was a converted hay loft. We ate breakfast there most mornings. Both my wife and I fell in love with the house. The village its self is so quiet and sleepy. We walked about exploring most evenings but only saw a handful of people. The area around Bergerac is stunning. Beautiful scenery with woods vineyards and Chateau's all over. We found a bakery and supermarket in Faux a few miles up the road but the larger town of Lalinde had more choice. We had a wonderful holiday. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place in a beautiful area of France staying in a wonderful house then this is for you. Graham & Jan

Summary: Our stay at Maison Aliénor was extremely enjoyable. The house is very spacious and confortable. The beds are also confortable and we all had a great time. The weather was excellent and nearly is a very good retaurant in the village. J would recommand a stay in Maison Aliénor. You will not regret it Thanks Rebecca and Peter

Summary: Thank you for a wonderful Holiday. What a beautiful part of France this is. The house was perfect and had everything we needed.. We had tow very relaxing weeks and hope to return in the spring next. We will definately recommanding the house for holidays Thanks very much
