Positive: Had an amazing stay here. We stayed in the budget double room and it was great. The Aircon was bad boi, which really saved us as this was our first visit to Thailand. The place is very cosy, homely, has character and the host was very welcoming. The location is fantastic, it's local, quiet and we found ourselves the only foreigners walking around during our stay, which is very welcome after spending our days in central Bangkok. If we decide to visit again, this will be our first choice. Thanks for having us.

Negative: Water flow out did not properly occur in the bathroom outlet and kitchen sink. Some students came for a get together. That time they were very noisy.
Summary: Overall a very peaceful environment to stay. Very worth the payment.

Positive: We had such a wonderful time staying at this cozy house — it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was surprisingly huge — we absolutely loved it! The living hall was one of our favorite spots. It was perfect for relaxing, having supper, and even watching movies while we waited for our next plans. It made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully furnished with all the cutlery and kitchenware we needed. We really appreciated having a fridge to store our food and being able to heat it up for breakfast the next day. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged.
Negative: The location is quite far from public transport — we had to walk nearly 1 kilometer (15 minutes) just to reach the main road. This can be inconvenient, especially for travelers on a budget, they can only rely on Grab, as the fares can be quite high due to the distance. For the first two days, the room was very dimly lit. However, once the owner returned from an emergency trip, he immediately replaced the light bulbs for us, which we appreciated. There was also an upstairs guest who kept bothering us to use his transport service. He claimed it was cheaper and asked us to cancel the Grab we had already booked, but later clarified he was only offering to drop us at the main road. It was confusing and made us feel uncomfortable. Additionally, during the owner’s absence in the first two days, the upstairs guests used the shared hall to eat and drink but didn’t clean up after themselves — leaving dirty plates and mugs behind.
Summary: Lovely home and helpful host — just needs better transport access and guest management.

Positive: They have so of the sweetest cats on the property. Definitely took a morning of sitting with them to play and enjoy having some quality cat time.

Positive: Great location, very quiet and calm - unusual for Bangkok but all area is very nice and local too. I had everything I need around all reachable by walking distance - a good pad thai place, muay thai gym, 7 11, big shopping mall for other groceries... I loved staying there as it felt like staying at someone's cosy house - where everything was well thought of - from the books on the shelves to the paintings or kitchen items. Also very clean and tidy place, I loved it!

Positive: What's there not to like? Pinklao Traveler's House is a place run by owners who obviously care about people who stay in it. The property is beautiful, and even though we stayed in the budget room, it didn't feel like a budget option! The room was huge and the shared bathroom was beautiful. We appreciated the host's responsiveness and the guide in the room, the quiet street we were on, and the beautiful cats!
Negative: That I didn't get to see Hex and Jinx on our last day 😆 Honestly, this place is amazing—the descriptions are very accurate. If you don't mind a bit of a walk (~2km) to the Bang Yi Khan MRT, you can go to a lot of places.

Positive: A beautiful rest area, quiet apartment, the beds are really good and the hosts are friendly and helpful. A nice kitchen who you can use, clean and good bathroom, a nice living room where you can relax/playing games, enough place for doing the laundry. Really good vibes, a lovely place to stay! We’ve been here for five nights, it was all worth it! We will absolutely come back here! Thanks a lot, Mitch and Gigi!
