Positive: Food was Excellent and made to order. Amazing selection. Care from the kitchen. Mr. Badry and staff are extremely helpful and make big efforts to ensure everything is to guest satisfaction. Mr. Barry asked every day if we were enjoying our stay and if we need anything else. We recommend the view of the city from their viewing point. Very pretty and a lovely environment to begin a desert safari from. The hotel arranged our trip and the guide—Mr. Rada—was polite, clear in communication, and made sure we knew what to expect and the schedule for each stop. We will make the same trips again because of such a positive experience.

Negative: Hot tub not working when we arrived.

Summary: Feel like you just got home without all the work.

Positive: We stayed in one of the larger (family) rooms. The room was newly built, clean, and comfortable. Internet/Wifi worked well and the breakfast was good. But the main reason for staying here was to take the overnight camping tour in the White Desert. This tour was excellent - great scenary, nice camping spots, great guides, and fresly prepared meals. It was well worth it. Badry, the owner, was very helpful and spoke good English. He arranged couple different tours for us.

Me and my girlfriend spent one night at the camp before going for a one-night trip to the black and the white desert, and we fell in love with the place, with Badry and with the other people who work there. The hospitality and kindness are unmatched, the location is stunning and their experience in the desert make Badry Sahara Camp an amazing choice for your stay in Bawiti and for visiting the white and black desert with some extra days of rest. Thank you to Badry and to everyone who made our experience unforgettable. We'll surely come back!

Positive: Falling asleep to the sound of chirping crickets is a priceless experience after the aural onslaught that is urban Egypt. Half of the thatch huts have been replaced with lovely brick domed en suite rooms. I stayed in both and while the brick rooms have ensuite plumbing, there was a certain nostalgic charm and quiet in the thatch hut. I was there in winter and the thatch hut was comfortable inside, and the thick bedding ensured a warm and comfortable sleep. Meals were simple and tasty. I was surprised to be served fish so deep in the desert, delicious fish and chips in fact! Thank you Badry and sons, I look forward to my next visit.

Negative: The location is a bit far out of town, but this is actually a very good thing. Mr Badry kindly picked me up in town where I got off the bus from Cairo. The bath house is showing age, please be understanding and gentle with the faucet taps. Your patronage will help repairs along.
