Positive: Our host Fraser gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. The bed was great and the warm bathroomfloor a joy. Breakfast was rich and lovely, what a treat. Good advice was given and also (for the road) as we left. We defenitely will be going back to Baekgaarden!

Positive: Everything was fantastic. The location is amazing, very quiet, peaceful. The accommodation was very clean, breakfast was a good amount to start your day, especially with home grown and locally sourced products. Our host couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. He recommended very good places to visit.

Negative: We enjoyed every moment there.

Positive: Lovely, well-renovated old house in a big garden with a beck and surrounded by beautiful countriside, with large rooms, comfortable beds, and good facilities. Breakfast was good, and Fraser was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about the area etc. We'd certainly stay here again!

Negative: The doorways were very low! But actually so low that the lintel was in my eyeline, so no damage was done!

Summary: Lovely place to stay.

Positive: What a lovely and peaceful property in rural Denmark. We were looking for a charming cottage off the beaten path and Baekgaarden B&B did not disappoint. It was situated perfectly for us to day trip to towns like Odense, Svendborg and Faaborg. The host was very welcoming and provided a delicious and very filling breakfast each morning. It was easy to come and go as we wished. The bathroom had radiant heating in the floor which was very welcome on cold mornings.

Negative: Everything was great! Just watch your head on the short door ways if you're tall. :)

Positive: Breakfast was very good, we were immersed for a couple of days in a typical danish house and landscape, not far from Odense, Egeskov Castle, Faaborg and other places, the owner Fraser is very polite and welcoming, we would have loved to spend more days in this lovely b&b!

Summary: It was like being in a H C Andersen fairytale!
