Summary: Food was great. Property compared to other places I’ve stayed it’s mid. The room service food was cold everytime it showed up. I don’t understand why they ask what or if we are celebrating anything because they did little to nothing. Then they tried to sell us on the priority club membership. The room upgrade wasn’t anything special it was the same room I was already in. I didn’t see the perks of that. Staying on the luxury side but still was around kids. Half the restaurants are on the family side. Honestly the hotel should just convert to a family hotel. The adults only wasn’t giving what needed to be gave. 3/5 overall experience.

Summary: This was a family trip with 4 of us and there were multiple issues. 1. The food was not up to par. 2. The beach is rocky. (Rocks covered in sand). 3. There was an issue with the door handle in our room for the bathroom and it bruised my wife and she got stuck until i came back. 4. We saw a small roach in the buffet at the Brazilian restaurant Los Olas.

Summary: We loved the atmosphere and the people for the most part. However, the restaurants are not open regularly. that was a problem the fact that we pay more for luxury and end up having to go to grand made no sense The toilet seat is smaller than the toilet bowl.the beds were horrible. The beds were soft and caving on one side where two people could not sleep on it My wife has spinal issues and for her she was uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on the couch. The tub was not clean. I had to request housekeeping to come up and clean it. The shower stall looks like there might be mold in it. There were also areas of the building that had this really moldy, wet carpet smell. The balcony was dirty and not cleaned while we were there. We tried to make the best of these situations because we paid for it and we know better. But I think overall for us the worst was feeling like we were held captive for 4 hours at a 90 minute promotion. To talk about something we did not come on vacation to talk about. Our accountant would’ve had a next to come and just decide to spend $22,000 or whatever they’re asking of us which is very stressful as we did not come on our vacation for that and I think that was very disrespectful on all level you don’t ask someone to spend 90 minutes with you even two hours, and after that we still had to be held longer than we wanted to be because you still kept pushing your own agenda regardless of what the person said. Indeed, it left a bad taste in our mouths.

Summary: I liked my stay at the Bahia Prinicipe Runaway Bay. Overall, the facilities are okay but definitely need renovation. The mattress was the worst part of the stay being very thin and lack of cushioning. The staff in every area from the dining services to the front desk and guest experience were all very kind and accommodating when we had an issue with the safe that took a couple days to resolve. Food was ok. Good variety. I will return and this is a solid 3-star resort- not the best and not the worst.

Summary: We had an absolutely AMAZING TIME. However if I can provide a suggestion, it would be to find out if the guests arriving prefer non alcoholic/ alcoholic beverages. I know a lot of visitors drink alcohol however my husband and I did not drink alcohol and we requested several times that the beverages for our room be refilled with sodas and waters so maybe you can add fruit juice as a option as well. Otherwise the experience was mesmerizing.
