Positive: The apartment was new, with nice equipment. There was a washing machine and a good fridge with a big freezer. The WC and shower were comfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes in the zone and the house had some electronic devices against mosquitoes. That was useful. Although we had more problems outside since we used the AC to keep the place very cool where mosquitoes didn't like to be. The AC was very efficient.
Negative: The apartments have good potential, but small details could be improved to justify the price and improve our experience. The driveway is very narrow for most cars. Very difficult to put the car inside The swimming pool is not very good for kids. That was not very easy to understand from pictures. The room could become totally dark and that was fine, but the kitchen could not at all. The big window has nothing to cover it and the sun would rise on that side. If you have to open the bedroom door at 6 am, for example, to go to the toilet it hurts the eyes and you wake up your partner with the light. There was only one toilet paper roll. Everywhere we stayed there was always an extra and here we were for more nights. We had to buy a pack just because of one roll. Of course one is not enough for 3 people for several days. In the end we got to know that our neighbors from the other apartment asked for more and they gave them. It would be nice to remember at that moment that we could also need it. We tried to dispose of the garbage, but the plastic collector didn't accept it because it was lacking a bag. There were no bags in the container or extra bags in the kitchen. It was fine for us because we were leaving the next day. It would be problematic with more days. The red standby light on the TV in the bedroom started to blink during the night, between red and green. It felt like an alarm and the TV in the kitchen was also blinking at the same time. I didn't understand what happened to cause it. We just unplugged the TV in the bedroom. The bedrooms had no space to open the doors to the outside space. Only in the main bedroom that was possible, but not easy. Maybe it would be possible to reduce the space the wardrobes take. They could be half the size. Maybe the big wardrobes could be a positive for others, but in my opinion they were too big in depth and they were taking space that was really necessary (for example, to open the doors to the small garden.

Positive: The location is good. Marzamemi and San Lorenzo are great. Good spot to visit the South East. We liked the beach. The property was well kept and the pool clean. Everything necessary was there. The coffee machine is good. On check-in we got some helpful information.
Negative: The property tried to charge several fees and taxes on check-out (eg city tax, cleaning), which were clearly included in the booking and the payment which was already made via booking.com. After confirmation by booking that nothing needs to be paid we simply left. I will give the benefit of doubt that this was only a misunderstanding on their side… For the premium price the provided equipment could be better. Eg, there are many ants and mosquitoes like at many houses in Sicily in Autumn. We had to buy anti ant and mosquito sprays ourselves while other premises that have similar issues provided it. The car parking space is very narrow and the slope very steep so difficult to park without damaging the floor of the car. After one scratch at the bottom we decided to park outside for the remaining stay. Marzamemi appears to be en vogue and there is construction all around, with neighboring houses at different stages. We were lucky as we had limited activity going on during our stay in the closest vicinity.

Positive: Beautiful compact apartment with several great outdoor areas (upstairs Sun terrace with views; pool; outdoor terrace for apartment). Really convenient location - 15 minute walk to Marzamemi for food but also close to nice beaches and about 30 minutes walk to San Lorenzo.

Negative: Overhaul the property is amazing!!! We did not like the local beach , 10 min walk, as much as we found it quite smelly and dirty. So we drove to the nearest lido 10 min away.
