Summary: What a peaceful stay we had out at Baja69. Juve the owner is so gracious and welcoming, and our room was immaculately clean and that view <3!! It’s on the “quiet” side of the beach which was perfect for quiet peaceful walks with the pups, but within walking distance to the crowds and busy sections of the beach. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Summary: We only stayed one night as we were just passing through on our way to Cabo and needed a place for the night. The host was fantastic. The place has a great story and a real organic laid back vibe. The place is peaceful with a great view to enjoy with your morning coffee. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Summary: Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. It’s very low-key and quiet. You can fall asleep, listening to the ocean waves crashing. And it’s just a short walk down to the beach. The view off the balcony is amazing. Juve the owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Summary: Terrific view from balcony, and from large windows in room. Delicious fresh egg breakfast ($12.50 extra). Super-helpful owner and staff. We locked outselves out of our car, and Juve (owner) made sure we got service to open the car, and even gave us the remaining 300 pesos to pay the mechanic. From the highway going north, you can easily miss the turnoff. You have to go past km67 marker, make a U-Turn where safe, and come back just past km67 marker to turn at the Baja69 sign.

Summary: The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at in all of my travels. This is partly due to the stunning rustic structure if Baja69 itself: all handmade, using sustainable materials such as adobe. From the balcony you can see all the way down to the iconic Hacienda Cerritos. It’s in large part due to the host Juve, however. There aren’t many people who can provide a home away from home, but Juve does just that with his kindness. Baja69 is tranquility embodied, at an excellent value. And the breakfasts are out of this world! Note that you will need a car to get around, but there are a number of reasonable options at SJD.
