2 Bedroom Condo in Nelson

BAKER STREET LODGE - 2 brand new condominium units right in the heart of downtown Baker Street available for short term rentals. Both architecturally designed 2 bedroom units are made available for use individually or combining them for larger groups. The convenience of being located directly up the stairs from our dynamic Baker Street, only steps to amazing shopping, great restaurants, brew pubs and nightclubs, coffee shops makes these units ultra convenient for tourists, and locals alike.
Our building is the first Baker Street building that has added a new floor since the 1960's. These are not renovated condo's but completely new structures added to the 100 year old single storey building. They are complete with all modern designs and styles. The Baker Street side condo - Unit A - has a 24 x 4 foot deck looking out on the street. The Alley side condo - Unit B - has a 12 x 19 foot deck with incredible views of the famous Pulpit Rock, Flagpole trail and Elephant Mountain. Both decks have Weber Natural Gas Barbques. Both units also have 1 king bed in master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. We also offer 1 cot for an additional $10.00 per night if required.

Summary: Would have never guessed this nice of a place could be in a historical old part of town. Only issue I had, was accessibility and parking availability - Paying to park (this wasn't mentioned at the time of booking). Also cancellation / modification of booking wasn't clearly stated that I recall. All this aside - this is a beautiful spot, accommodations were immaculately taken care of, and the hosts were great for detailing the guidance of check in / out.

Summary: I have reached out to the owners in hopes of having the issues we experienced remedied/acknowledged by them but unfortunately have not heard back in 2 days so figured it best to leave a review so future guests have a heads up. The positives of our stay were a truly amazing location in town, so convenient to get anywhere in Nelson and a quick walk to the parking garage you have to us. There was also a lot of natural light which was nice. The biggest complaint we have was the cleanliness of the unit, the biggest issue was the en-suite bathroom smelt of urine when we checked in. After smelling surfaces to figure out what it was it ended up being the shower curtain, we had to take it down and wash it before we could even use the bathroom. They also had a very stinky mop head hanging in the laundry room that was the first smell we got of the apartment when we entered. Additionally there were multiple kitchen items (pots/plates/utensils) that had dried food on them or grease. We pre washed everything we used because of this. Most of the shelves and baseboards had a thick coat of dust. And the showers were not cleaned well, they smelt musky and water buildup was left on the glass. Ultimately it made us feel like the space was not very clean at all, and made us nervous about how well they disinfected anything between guests.Only other issues were that the wrong set of keys to access back door was left in lock box, so we stood outside while my husband had to go walk around.

Summary: Stayed in Nelson to visit the area, including Ainsworth Hotsprings. This Vrbo property was located right in the center of the hustle and bustle of Nelson. Plenty to access in town within walking distance, and central to many attractions working a short drive. Spacious and clean property to return to each time.

Summary: Very clean, well set-up/stocked/furnished with very comfortable beds. Great location. Some problems with check-in, that were dealt with. Weak wi-fi (used our hotspots). Would happily stay again in this condo.
