Summary: This boutique hotel was, by far, the biggest positive surprise of the last 10 years of travel. It was simply exquisite! I don't think I can do it justice. From the street, it doesn't look like much. And then you get behind the doors, and there's gardens and multi-levels, all unexpected. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There were secret gardens and decks. Seriously, I just can't say enough about how much we loved this hotel! The decor was full of antiques and unexpected turns. Top it all off for breakfast was absolutely outstanding. I was expecting a few pastries and coffee. They had such a beautiful layout of food. Our loft room had beams and skylights, and a beautiful bathroom. The owner and his staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely fabulous!!!!

Summary: The room was very clean , two fans which were much appreciated in this heat, lady on reception was helpful and friendly, the bus stop outside was very handy to get to the station and only a few stops. If I had to be picky the bed wasn’t overly comfortable for me , and I didn’t manage to get hot water in the shower but didn’t have time to mention on way out, I would stay again, beautiful park nearby also .

Summary: We stayed here for our trip to Wimbledon. Room was clean and lovely silent fans in the room. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend

Summary: Our room was at the top of the house and was ridiculously hot. The fan in the room was broken, but staff did supply another one. We had to sleep with the window and shutters open, and it was still uncomfortably hot and stuffy, and made us feel quite sick. It was a relief to open the bedroom door in the morning and let some air in. We could feel it getting cooler as we went downstairs. Staff were helpful when we spoke to them, I guess there's not much more they can do when the weather is 30°+ outside. There were fleece blankets and duvets on the bed, we had to request cotton sheets to make it a little more bearable in the heat. Would stay again, but only during a cooler season!

Summary: Character building with a room that had all the amenities. Very comfortable bed. Front desk staff was genuinely helpful with all questions. About 12 minutes walk to tube station. Good value for money.
