Our beloved family cottage on Balsam Lake. 1:45 minutes from the city. The main cottage has 4 bedrooms. 1 queen, 1 double, a single that can be converted to double and bunk beds. The guest chalet is also available and could house an additional family of 4. The property is level with grass and a gradual slope into the water. Perfect for small children. A kayak, paddle boat, and canoe are available for guests. Boat rentals can be arranged at the marina just in town.

Summary: We had a wonderful time! The location and cottage were perfect! The cottage was clean and properly looked great! It had everything you need for a perfect weekend away! Easy check-in and the owners made sure every detail was taken care of. I highly recommend this place!

Summary: The perfect blend of rustic and modern conveniences. We stayed down at the lake and in the screened in porch most of our stay. There were enough big plush towels for the 4 of us swimmers to use for 5 days. The beds are super comfortable and a big screen TV with high speed internet for late evening. The chalet was really cozy and helped to have a second fridge. The Only criticism I have is the BBQ was not up to standard. Tim the owner was quick to communicate and make amends for the BBQ however next year when I book I hope the BBQ has been replaced.

Summary: Tim’s property is exactly as shown. Extremely comfortable and cozy. Beds and bedrooms were perfect. Kitchen was fully functional. The view! The water! We cannot express in words what a perfect location this is. We spent time on the deck around the outdoor fire table. Evenings with a nice fire down by the water. Inside we enjoyed our meals and game time in the comfort of this beautiful cottage. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates nature. Oh, and as a special pre Thanksgiving surprise, a wild turkey was wandering around the yard.
