3 Bedroom Cottage in Coboconk, Kawartha Lakes

Log home on Shadow Lake with large grass area, beach, boat dock, bbq deck, firepit. Inside is a large open living room with massive fireplace, 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, 1 large master bedroom (w/king bed) on the main floor and a TV/4th bedroom perfect for kids to bunk together that has 2 double size futons. Most suited for 4 to 6 adults and smaller children. On the deck you will find a bbq and plenty of Muskoka chairs, as well as a relaxing outdoor seating area! We also have an outdoor firepit!! The view from the deck and main windows is south down the lake, just lovely! We are 5 kms away from the town of Coboconk which has the Patti House (famous local landspot!), a Subway, Foodland, beer store, LCBO. 20 minutes to Fenellon Falls, Bobcaygeon and Minden (home to the world famous Kawartha Dairy). We are perfect for families with small children and adult family reunions. Pet friendly

Summary: Stayed here for three nights with my partner and our two dogs. The cottage is beautiful - natural wood everywhere, stone fireplace, and a beautiful view out the large window. We came in November and it was very serene and relaxing.Jane went above and beyond to ensure we're comfortable. You can tell she cherishes this place and is happy to share her little paradise with others.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this cottage. I must say it was exactly as we received the first time! Check in is super easy! Jane does a wonderful job at keeping in contact and checking in if needed. We will for sure be back again next year and again & again

Summary: This is the 5th time that we have stayed at this beautiful cottage. We are already planning our visit for next summer. It is roomy with a gorgeous interior, incredible fireplace, high ceilings, amazing view of the lake as you sip your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, comfortable king-sized bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen has everything that you could want or need. It feels like our second home. Our thanks to the wonderful hosts for allowing us to share their vacation home once again.

Summary: A large property inside and out. So many options for relaxing (inside, sun, shade) and playing (games, water craft, swimming, lawn activities) that you’ll never be bored or at loose ends. The house is gorgeous and spacious with beautiful views out the amazing windows. You feel like you’re in your own little world but towns and local attractions are not that far away. We had a very restful stay.

Summary: This property is amazing. We keep coming back each year. From kayaking in the "back bay," to swimming at the little beach, to s'mores by the firepit, everything is perfect. We saw ducks, loons, geese, herons, and kingfishers all in one day! Also great to have a king-sized bed. Many thanks to the owners for continuing to make this property available on VRBO.
