Summary: We had breakfast at all the hotels we stayed at. The breakfast here was the least expensive and not quite as good as the others. As a fun note when we arrived late morning we knew it was early for check in. The street in front of the hotel was blocked off for a farmers market. It was a great chance to see the fish, vegetables, breads and cheeses we could have bought. But getting on the plane the next day buying was not an option. We parked a public lot a block away overnight. We took what we needed for one night out rather than drive the car up with our heavy bags. The people running the hotel were very very nice. Great location to see the cathedral and the castle.

Summary: Room seemed clean. No air-conditioning. Staff were friendly. Evening meal was overcooked. Breakfast was very disorganised. Hotel location very good. Parking is limited near hotel.

Summary: Cheap two star hotel. Don’t expect any frills because there aren’t any but it is warm, very convenient and clean. Our room- 1 had been recently decorated very pleasantly. Room was small but fine for one night.

Summary: We loved the Balzac Hotel! The location is in the center of the Old Town, the staff were extremely helpful, the breakfast was lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Summary: I was 3 hours early , and check in was at 4 which I was very aware of. But what I didn't know that the hotel is closed til then. It was cold and raining, waited outside for an hour til I decide to call them. Not to check in but just to sit in their lobby. The lady/owner gave me an attitude saying check in at 4, I told her I can wait in the lobby as all I need is just to be indoors and warm. They really should state their closing hours. I could have gone elsewhere where it's open 24/7.
