Friars Rest is a comfortable beautifully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bathroom annexe property situated in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of beautiful Bamburgh village with its pubs shops, cafe, restaurants, deli, butcher, and just a short stroll to the magnificent castle and golden sandy beaches.
Modern open plan with 2 large comfy sofa's a 42" Panasonic tv and DVD, underfloor heating throughout. A modern contemporary kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob etc. Dining table and chairs.
Upstairs the master double bedroom has a luxury en suite bathroom with shower
The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined to form a king size bed.
There is also a small fully tiled wet room
Parking and outside enclosed patio and lawned area.
All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided

Summary: Exceeded expectations! Great place to stay to explore the the lovely coastline and castles. Good quiet location on edge of village. Beautiful and well equipped accomodation spotlessly clean. Shelagh very welcoming and helpful if required, would not hesitate to recommend.

Summary: We were welcomed to a Very impressive, cozy annex set in beautiful garden, walking distance to the centre of Bamburgh. Perfect for the Grace Darling museum, great choice of eating places and stunning castle and beach. The property is tastefully decorated, all the equipment you’ll need, home from home and very clean too.

Summary: Ideal location.Welcome pack very useful.Spotless and well equipped. Brilliant owner so helpful. Easy walks to restaurants .Some need advanced booking.Middle inn always had a table without booking.Seahouses close by the Brasserie Indian restaurant brilliant.Could not get itv on TV .WiFi could be weak. Would prefer a more solid curtain on ensuite.

Summary: A fantastic place to stay in a beautiful location. The cottage was sparkling clean and very well equipped. An easy stroll to the centre of Bamburgh and the beach. We would definitely return!
