Summary: The rooms are lovely. The pool is great but you need to buy a bathing cap. This is new to me. There is nothing within walking distance. You need to book your breakfast or dinner. Price is rather high. Very nice but over priced.

Summary: We arrived from Antalya feeling tired around 11:30 AM, yet the room wasn't ready until 1:45 PM. A hotel with a prestigious reputation should have rooms available to accommodate guests in such situations. Furthermore, no service was offered while we sat waiting in the armchairs. I find this unacceptable.

Summary: Breakfast was average for a 5* but hotel was in an excellent location and distance to Goreme. Clean fairly new and staff were very helpful

Summary: The hotel is beautifully laid out. The rooms are light and airy. The bed was one of the softer ones we found in Turkey, where so many mattresses are hard. There were a few construction/maintenance issues with our room (that are probably the case in other rooms). The thresholds were not made of solid wood and the laminate was peeling. The bathroom shower (while large, with easy push-buttons to control the rain showerhead versus the telephone showerhead) was not caulked properly, so the bathroom floor flooded. While you're there, definitely take advantage of the spa and pools--those were our favorite part. The hotel store is also surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced. The one breakfast we ordered wasn't spectacular; however, that might have been because we ordered the American-style option, and we weren't in America. :) The dinner service was good and the restaurant staff were super polite and helpful. The air conditioning worked beautifully, all over the hotel!

Summary: Excellent staff and amenities. I felt well taken care of. Bonus they have one of the best balloon packages in terms of pricing. Highly recommend.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Barceló and would highly recommend it. Highlights of our stay: Fantastic rooms – beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Wonderful staff – everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Excellent breakfast – a huge variety of delicious options to choose from every morning. Amazing spa – we tried the hammam and massage treatments, which were excellent. We also loved the swimming area, jacuzzi, and sauna, making it the perfect place to relax. Overall, Barceló exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again.

Summary: Very clean, staff is very helpful. Food at the restaurant tasted good. Hotel design is beautiful. Everything is well maintained. This is very close to everything but requires a ride down the hill to all the tourist shops. Its nice and quiet there while being 5 minutes by car/van ride to all of the attractions, restaurants and small shops.

Summary: I loved this property and I plan to revisit at every opportunity. The staff were amazing, the hotel smelled like heaven, the property was extremely clean and the convenience to town was great. The only thing I’d ask is that they add more options to the menu. Outside of that, this property was perfection!
