Summary: We had a fabulous time at the Texas Red Barn. Great location and just down the road from Lake Barkley. We stayed in the smaller unit and it was the perfect amount of space for our family of 5 that included three kids and our standard poodle. Phylis was great with communication and her attention to detail with decor is amazing. So many personal touches down to fresh cut flowers and homemade cookies. There is an herb garden for guests to use and wild blackberries to pick. For food, I recommend The Willow Pond restaurant-fun atmosphere, catfish and vinegar slaw are a must try. Will definitely be back.

Summary: Phyllis was an excellent host and the property was spotless clean. We brought our 2 miniature schnauzer and even they felt at home. If I return to the area, I would definitely stay at this location again.

Summary: We stayed here with a group of friends on short notice after another reservation fell through. We ended up licking out BIG time as Phyllis was overwhelmingly welcoming and helpful when we arrived! The Barn has been updated with modern amenities, great out door space, and tons of well thought out touches throughout. There was even a bottle of wine and a homemade pound cake when we arrived! The area is gorgeous and nearby several outdoor activities. We would highly recommend this place to anyone! Note: the Barn consists of three separate living spaces and the center one seems like it would accommodate a large family easily.

Summary: We loved this beautiful place felt so at home here close to everything we had planned to do beautiful outdoor sitting area all the comforts of home and brownies and wine was a paleo surprise we can’t wait to come back
