Enter into the main home and be met with all pine walls and a vaulted stone fireplace. Enjoy dinner at the large dining table and cozy up on the sofas in the living to play or board game or relax and read a book.

Summary: It was perfect! Quiet, clean, comfortable. So nice to have staples there immediately upon arrival. Coffee, water, etc. and a nice local baked bread and blackberry jam. The owners were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Summary: This place is beautiful inside and out! We needed a handicapped accessible place to stay for our daughter's wedding in Afton, and this lovely home worked out perfectly. We especially enjoyed the decor, the well appointed kitchen, and the dusting of snow the first night!

Summary: What a fun experience to spend a month in this Barndominium. Amy and Gary are wonderful hosts. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh eggs and jelly (from the most wonderful Mennonite market, Troyers...highly recommend). The home decor reminded me of what you would see on HGTV. Amy has a great eye for interior decorating. Loved the porch swing in the sunroom where I could relax and read a good book as well as evenings spent on the back porch where we could enjoy the beautiful peaceful countryside. But, only 15 to 20 minute drive and you can be near golf, shopping, etc. in Jonesborough or Johnson City. Both Amy and Gary went above and beyond to give us our privacy but were always available if there was anything we needed. This home has all the modern conveniences. The master bed was very comfortable. If you are looking for the comforts of a home away from home and the unique experience of a Barndominium, look no further.
