After a day at the beach, park, ski hills, work, golf course or just sightseeing, there's nothing better than to sink into the big comfy couch or bed and unwind.
This sun-filled unit is entirely private, and the master bedroom has access to a large enclosed deck to enjoy the sunshine and each other's company.
Self check in/out is available beginning at 4pm via code or app.
We’re firm believers in upcycling and ecofriendliness - from the hutch doubling as a dresser, to the covered couch that will envelop you to the Brita pitcher and coffee maker, we want our place to have all of the creature comforts of home while being impeccably clean!
Quiet family neighbourhood. Easy car access to Highway 400 and Highway 26.
~25 minute walk to Barrie downtown. ~1 minute walk to bus stop.
It's about 30 min walk/8 min Cab/Uber to Centennial Beach.
Lots of restaurants and shopping along Bayfield St, Mapleview, and the Tanger Outlet mall.

MacMorrison Park is over 6.5 acres and includes a jungle gym, horseshoes and a baseball diamond just at the end of the street (<1 min walk).
Guest access
There is a bus stop at the end of the street and Uber/Lyft are available. You can also walk to downtown - it's about ~25 minutes.
There is free parking along Bayfield at the malls and shop/restaurant lots (~3 min drive).
Parking downtown and at the beach is charged either via meter or kiosk - check the signage, there are resident restricted lots as well!
Other things to note:
As there may be tenants in the lower unit, no parties of any kind and no guests not on reservation will be tolerated. There is a $500 deep cleaning fee for smoking in the unit. There is a $100 fee/day for each guest not included in the booking. For pets, there is a $150 additional cleaning fee per stay.
There are cameras along the perimeter of the property.

Summary: Deeply disappointed in the cleanliness, the musty smell and out dated and mismatched furniture. The kitchen is a disaster whereby only one appliance at a time can be used. How exactly is one supposed to boil the kettle or make coffee and toast at the same time? The shower is completely disgusting with old discoloured grout and the garden advertised to be pet friendly isn't even fenced in! In addition, there is a man living in the basement who shares the driveway who you don't find out about until you get there! Aren't VRBOs supposed to be the entire house?

Summary: We spent the family day weekend here with our family of 3 kids. Tash’s place was great. Clean, quiet and perfect for a winter get away. Tash was very friendly and in communication with us right from the point of reservation to check out. Highly recommend. Perfect launching point for skiing, skating and everything in between.
