Positive: Beautiful cosy cottage in a perfect location, walking distance into the village of Bourton-on water. The hosts even left a welcome pack of wine, biscuits, milk, cereal. Very much enjoyed and appreciated.
Negative: Nothing apart from the outside space would have made it exceptional but we were aware of this when booking cottage.
Summary: Perfect property for a comfortable weekend in the Cotswolds!

Positive: Great location and in walking distance to anything in Bourton on the Water. The Mousetrap Inn next door can also be recommended. A very quiet neighbourhood. Parking is small but we found it easy to find alternative parking across the road. We appreciate the kind gesture of leaving a few key items, like milk.
Negative: The waste collection was confusing as a non-Brit. It seemed we were meant to have more waste bins for certain recycling items, and either I couldn't find these, or I misunderstood. Some more clear information around this would be great

Positive: Great location walking distance into town and all the amenities and easy to drive to all other locations. A comfortable cottage and very nice hosts who called to say that we could check in early in need. The welcome package was such a lovely touch too and great to have some bits when you arrive.
Negative: Parking wasn't the best, I have a 1 Series and only just managed to get onto the parking spot. If you have a bigger car then you would not fit onto the space. The house could have been cleaner, all bedding was spotless but things like the skirting, carpet and smaller details could do with a bit of a once over.

Positive: The location is perfect - just up the road from Bourton on the Water and central to the beautiful Cotswold countryside. The bath is lovely and deep and quick to fill. and the shower powerful. The hosts are very kind and left us milk, wine, juice, crisps and biscuits - such a thoughtful welcome. There is everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would definitely come back and would recommend
Negative: There's not much to be done about this but the back garden is tiny and the front garden wasn't easy to park on Despite trying we couldn't get the hob to work (I'm convinced that's more to do with user error but it was a pain)
