Positive: The host Irene was incredible! Definition of hospitable, and was so lovely and helpful, she even offered to be our guide on the first day. She’s so funny and kind, and a brilliant cook (she made the best pancakes we’ve ever had!). The view from the homestay was also gorgeous.

Negative: The toilet facilities were okay, but not brilliant. Still absolutely fine and definitely did the job though.

Summary: Nice property with a stunning view, and very kind hosts.

Positive: It is all about location, at the edge of the Batad cluster of the UNESCO designated Cordillera Rice Terraces. A bit of a challenging path leading to the guesthouse, but then it all opens up like an amphitheater, right from the bedroom. Nicely prepared meals, ice cold beers. Very friendly host family.
