Positive: Great location, near to so many restaurants, supermarket and the town of La Fortuna. Property itself was very well maintained… lush, well attended to gardens, and coming home to the jacuzzi was an added plus!

Positive: Rooms were really clean, getting in with self check in was easy, price was affordable. Wish there was a pool at this residence but the jacuzzi was easy to figure out. Loved it!
Negative: Area still up and coming so not much of a view due to construction.
Summary: Love it! Would stay again!

Positive: We loved our stay at BAUMA, can’t recommend it enough and would happily have stayed longer! The location was great, (across the road from North Fields Coffee and Chocolate tour which is well worth doing) and only took a few minutes by car to all the La Fortuna local restaurants. We stayed in Villa 1 as a family of 3. We loved the privacy of the villa, it was spotlessly clean, the bed linen and beds were super comfy, a well equipped kitchen (not that we cooked). The lounge area was great to relax in, we connected the tv to our Netflix account. The pool was rather refreshing but lovely to relax by after a day exploring the area! Being able to do laundry was an added bonus! Housekeeping came in daily and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Summary: An amazing start to our Costa Rica holiday, booking have picked a better place to stay!

Positive: I stayed in one of the loft properties at BAUMA and it was an incredible experience. The property is finished to an exceptionally high standard and is architecturally impressive. Being able to view Arenal Volcano from the upper deck, while drinking my morning coffee; and lounging in the hot tub under shelter, listening to the sound of thunder while it poured with rain, are two experiences that will stay with me. Would absolutely recommend.

Positive: We did a tour of Costa Rica and it was probably the best place we stayed, beautiful new rooms, little modern kitchen, beautiful shower and jacuzzi! The view from the top balcony (each room has one) is breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it! Friendly staff, easy to communicate via what’s up any time! 10 minutes from the Arenal volcano.

Positive: Very clean and quiet. Felt safe. Great communication by staff. Personal hot tub was nice. Daybed on upper patio with view of the volcano. We walked to downtown Fortuna (approx 1 mile) or took an Uber if at night.
Negative: No instructions for hot tub on the hot tub itself.

Positive: Enjoyed our stay at Bauma. Loft was well appointed, clean and the location is nice and quiet
Negative: Bathroom shower is open air (although fantastic) , you need to keep the door closed so ac in the room cools. Not a deal breaker but that was our only negative
