2 Bedroom Condo in Siesta Key, Sarasota

This beautifully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit provides you with a stunning view of the Sarasota Bay adorned with draping trees that hide multiple varieties of birds. The lanai is in a Key West theme with 2 chaise lounges looking out at the water and a bistro set for morning breakfast.
The condo has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a newly renovated master bathroom, 1 full size bed and 1 twin size bed in the second bedroom, and a full size 2nd bath with tub/shower. There is also a full size inflatable mattress with sheets. Included are 2 flat screen TVs, free Wifi, use of 2 bicycles, linens, towels, a hairdryer, and an iron board and iron. The kitchen includes all the items you could possibly think of including a microwave, dish washer, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Additionally there are summer reading books and start up materials such as paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, etc. All we ask is that you replace what you use. There is a laundry unit steps from the unit next to the elevator.
The amenities at Bay Tree club are plentiful. There are 2 piers that have benches you can sit on in the morning with your coffee and watch the sun rise or just enjoy some bay fishing. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of a manatee or a dolphin. There is a kayak launch if you decide to rent a kayak to visit the bird sanctuaries that surround the bay. Right downstairs from the condo is one of 2 heated pools. A few steps more will lead you to the picnic area that has gas grills and a beautiful view of the Sarasota Bay.
Directly across the street is Turtle Beach. You have direct access to the condo's private cabana which includes umbrellas, chairs, a beach wagon, toys, and floats. There is also a 2nd heated pool, another picnic area, gas grills, bathrooms, and an outdoor fresh water shower.
There are 3 restaurants in walking distance, the world famous Siesta Beach is about 4 miles north and downtown Sarasota hosts wonderful shopping, restaurants, theater, and so much more. Tampa Busch Gardens is a little more than 1 hour away and Orlando is a 2 hour drive. The condo will have a information on attractions that may be of interest.
I have been coming to Siesta Key for over 15 years. There is simply no place like it. You can enjoy the calm tranquil south end or take a quick ride, by car or the free trolley that stops directly in front of the condo, to Siesta Key Village for a little more of a bustling crowd.
If you are adventurous, there are enough activities for the whole family. There are multiple places to rent kayaks, paddle boards, and jet skis. You can go parasailing, play golf, miniature golf, and even enjoy a movie.
Some of my favorite attractions include Mote Marine Aquarium, St. Armand's Circle and downtown Sarasota for one of a kind shopping and excellent restaurants. The Marie Shelby Botanical Garden is a lovely surprise of hidden beauty. Myakka State Park also offers a great opportunity to see more of Florida's wildlife.

Summary: Property has everything you could possibly need or want! It is in the “C” building on the grounds which gives you a beautiful view of the intercoastal. So quiet, this is not a resort mostly owned units not many rentals. The pool(s) were virtually empty. Everyone we met was so nice and friendly! No laundry in condo but it was just steps away and not an issue.The walk to the beach was easy not far at all. The cabanas that hold all your beach gear were a dream since all the sand stays at the beach! Even the parking spot is in the shade! Condo was very clean and the attention to detail was noticed! We lived on the porch which was very nice and shade in the afternoon. The beach is practically a private beach some days we were the only ones there! I would highly recommend this rental.

Summary: My husband, son, and I loved our week at the Bay to Beach Condo. So convenient to all things Sarasota but in a quieter location with lots of birds like pelicans, osprey, and eagles. The cabana held all the things we needed to enjoy the beach, just a few steps away from the condo. We even saw a dolphin surfacing right near the shore! The condo was very clean, which we appreciated. It was well stocked with all the necessities. Thank you Dierdre!

Summary: Condo was as advertised and Deidre was very helpful and was available immediately with answers to any questions we had. Condo was well equipped with anything we needed and spacious. The only issue we had was with the shuttle bus (s). There is an app that will tell you when the next shuttle will stop but it is currently not working. We sat at the shuttle stop for up to 30 minutes and no shuttles came by. We even ended up walking the 2 miles from downtown back to the condo as the shuttle did not show up.That was the only issue we struggled with.

Summary: My family and I had such a wonderful time in Deirdre’s little piece of paradise! Turtle beach is so peaceful and relaxing. The location of this condo is superb. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the home was clean and spotless. The kitchen comes well stocked with anything you may need. Easy beach access with a Cabana full of everything you could ever need for a great beach day. Deidre is a great commutator and was very accommodating! We have stayed at many places in Siesta Key and this is the one that now ranks first on our list.

Summary: I just cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner. The condo is immaculate with everything you could need for the beach. The bay and beach are both super accessible and absolutely breathtaking. We saw sea turtles and gopher tortoises, dolphins and incredible birds. The cabana is so convenient and the beach is gorgeous and much less crowded than Siesta Key Beach (which is also awesome and easy to get to). Deirdre, the owner, is helpful and so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Our stay was wonderful. The view from the lanai was fantastic. We had everything we needed and then some. Just a quick walk to turtle beach. The cabana had chairs, umbrellas, bikes - literally anything you would need for a day on the beach. We took the shuttle for dinner to the village and siesta key beach. The only thing I would fix would be locks on the bed frame in spare room so it doesn’t move when you do. Great condo and superb location.

Summary: We had a fantastic time at the Bay to Beach condo. The interior is very nice with new appliances, recently updated baths and floors and a view of the bay. The live oak trees attract many birds, including ospreys and the screened porch is an enjoyable place to take it all in. The beach is across the road and easy to access and there are two pools if you don't want to swim in the Gulf of Mexico. If it is not available the next time we go to Siesta Key, we will be disappointed!
