Welcome to The Governor`s Harbour Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; an affordable, condo-style development located in the heart of Governor`s Harbour, Eleuthera. The complex is comprised of two buildings: One contains 2 one bedroom apartments and two standard two bedroom apartments, while the other building contains 2 larger, two bedroom apartment suites.
This beautiful one bedroom apartment located on an elevated first floor at Anchor Point has lovely views overlooking gorgeous Anchor Bay. It features a private bedroom with Queen sized bed, complete bathroom with walk-in shower, full kitchen, living room and a private, covered balcony.
The apartment is perfect for couples or singles that want their own space, with all the amenities of back home. There is a full washer and dryer in the unit, as well as pots/pans, coffee maker, full oven/stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and so much more. A back-up generator switches on automatically to ensure your constant comfort.
Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and soft sided cooler are all included for days lounging on nearby beaches. SMART TV and Wi-Fi are also included with the rental for those that want to catch up on their favorite programs/movies, or work while away!
Anchor Point Apartments are located in the vibrant heart of Governor`s Harbour, in a prime location for exploring Central Eleuthera. We are one block from the historic Haynes Library, and less than a 1/4 mile from Cupid`s Cay, home of the Eleutheran Adventurers, and the site of the first Bahamian Parliament in 1746.
On Friday evenings, there`s great Bahamian nightlife at the Anchor Bay fish fry, which is a short stroll from the apartments. Here you can sample locally prepared, down-home Bahamian food - including conch salad, deep fried fish, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, and peas n` rice. Mingle with friendly locals, winter residents who visit the island each year for several months at a time, or tourists seeking a fun evening out - there is a live DJ, local beers and cocktails on sale, limbo contests and dancing in the street until late!
Anchor Point is in walking distance to local supermarkets, banks (2 with ATMs), coffee shops, gift stores and more - But, if you want to really explore the island, it is best to rent a car. There are endless secluded beaches that travel the length of the island, just waiting to be explored!
For a great day out on the ocean fishing, we would be more than happy to help you arrange hiring a boat for the day or organizing a charter, with your own captain. Paddle boards, kayaks, and jet skis are also available for rent, as well as snorkeling and diving gear. You can also take a day excursion to visit The Swimming Pigs of Spanish Wells – a relatively new, but very popular, day tour!

Summary: We had a great visit. The place is very comfortable and Dom was so nice. He met us there and made sure we were aware of everything and comfortable! Loved our stay. Neighbors in other apartments were a little noisy but everyone is on vacation. Great place. We would come here again.

Summary: This property is located in the middle of Governor's Harbour with a perfect view of the harbor by the the boat ramp. The unit we stayed in was very modern and clean and had everything you could need. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Summary: Second visit and did not disappoint. We really do feel at home at Anchor Point apartments, Everything you need is to be found there, and if not you are in walking distance to pick up light groceries. A car is really needed if you want to explore Eleuthera with its amazing beaches and it’s beautiful people. Joy and Dom always a phone call away should you need assistances, and we appreciate that. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Summary: We were happy to call the apartment home for seven nights. Clean and spotless with high end fixtures and fittings. Bed comfortable with nice linen. Bath towels and towels for the beach good quality. Thought has been put into the decor of the apartment. Everything at hand to make your stay enjoyable. Apartment central in Governors harbour to walk to have coffee or an evening meal. Shopping easily accessible also, although a car would be needed to make the grocery shopping more pleasant of an experience. You will never tire of the view either - plenty to see and watch from the patio. Overall we would not hesitate to recommend the apartments. When we come back to Eleuthera we would want to call Anchor Point apartments home once again.

Summary: We are without words. Dom & Joy are excellent hosts and exceptional property managers-attentive, personal, professional. Starting with quick responses to our questions prior to arriving, a personal welcome, and a comprehensive welcome binder with everything you can think of all the way to accommodating our departure time-is only the beginning. We want to tell everyone of this beautifully centrally located property but then we are torn to keep it a secret! The island offers so many things to do, great food, great beaches, great history and the best BBQ ribs across from Ronnies on Friday and Saturdays. A beautiful slow down to discover. See you very soon….

Summary: Everything went smoothly in our Eleuthera rental. Communication was good and Dom the host met us at the house to answer any questions we had. It was nicely decorated and had everything you need to have a nice vacation. Plenty of parking, great view, walking distance to everything . We bought fish from a local guy and had whole snapper on the electric grill. It also had a w/d if you need it.
