Positive: The friendly staff members, particularly in the breakfast nook which had one of the best complimentary breakfast options we have enjoyed. The atmosphere was so very pleasant. For example, I was doing my PT in the workout room and appreciated the fact that a more experienced trucker was mentoring a newbie. Well behaved gentlemen throughout the hotel provided a quiet, safe atmosphere. Both the sauna, therapy bench and larger, nine-foot depth pool were much appreciated bonuses. The bathroom had a regular door unlike the unpleasant barndoor style in many new hotels and an additional sink and mirror with blow dryer in the room.
Negative: Instant Folgers coffee in both lobby and breakfast room. While I prefer a very firm mattress, our daughter preferred the soft mattress at the hotel. Definitely a personal preference. If one swims laps, the entire side with stairs makes turning off both walls impossible. However, if folks want to sit on those stairs and chat it is ideal. The 24 hour store's inventory covered all the bases.

Positive: This is not a very fancy property, but it is filled with amenities. I was impressed with the pool area, gym, breakfast room, convivence store and general physical plant. The breakfast in the morning was hot, had good variety, and crispy bacon! The room was well appointed. Although, I was using this place just a place to rest my head for a weekend, I feel like I could spend a day lounging around this hotel, which is not what I was expecting at this price point. It is my understanding (based on what I overheard from an employee) that the hotel is really owned and operated by TMC Transporation, which may explain why the hotel is so nice.
