Positive: We spent two nights at this wonderful historic property. The house is majestic full of beautiful antique pieces of furniture. The bedroom was very comfortable and well appointed. Our host Andrew was most welcoming, producing very fresh tasty breakfasts and going out of his way to source information for places we were subsequently travelling to. He also has a friendly dog, Lady Clementine. The house is very well located, within short walking distance to a number of restaurants and bars. Free parking is available directly outside the property. I would stay here again if I got the chance and would highly recommend to others.

Positive: This place is AMAZING. You could tell immediately that Andrew is the perfect host. Nothing was forgotten, or too much trouble. Walking distance to civil war museum and the best places to eat. Room was massive, tea, coffee machine, free bottles of water. And the price is so reasonable. Breakfast was the perfect mix of fruit, yoghurt, muffin, hot quiche, sausage etc

Positive: This was a genealogy trip, as my father grew up next door to the Bazsinsky house, in what was called the Victorian House, which was taken down (burned?) by his late cousin, Dr. Nathan Lewis. I have several Vicksburg families in my extended family, and this trip was an opportunity to get more information about this side of my family.
Negative: Nothing comes to mind.
Summary: We enjoyed learning more about my family’s history in Vicksburg.

Positive: This large, beautiful home is a short walk from a fun walking neighborhood. Our host sent us to a delightful and reasonably priced restaurant with a stunning view of the river. After dinner we sat out on the porch drinking wine and looking at the old courthouse across the street. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It was a short drive to the Vicksburg battle field, which we toured on electric bicycles. Even though the park was closed on account of a government shutdown, the roads were open and the signage was excellent.

Positive: The breakfast was excellent! I love the eggs and homemade muffin. The sausage, fruit and Greek yogurt made for the perfect addition. Andrew greeted us and immediately made recommendations for dinner options and other sites to see.
Negative: They thought of every detail including a phone charging cord and extra outlets. I can’t think of anything they could have done better.
Summary: One of the most unique houses and personable service.
