BB’s River Cabin is a newly renovated cabin that has full access to the Southfork river at its own backyard. This cabin is secluded and offers quiet solitude to help you and your family unwind while enjoying nature at the same time. It’s off the main drag but close enough to town if you should need supplies. This beautiful cabin is surrounded by the scenic Ouachita National Forest. It’s 20-30mns away from Lake Ouachita and Lake Hamilton if you ever want to swim during the warmer months, go boating, catch some fish, scuba dive, go kayaking, go backpacking or hike at the Ouachita State Park. Mount Ida is known as the “Quartz Crystal Capital of the World” so it comes as no surprise that you will see a lot of rock shops and mining places that showcases an extensive collection of different crystals upon your stay with us.
BB’s River Cabin can easily sleep up to 10 people with it having 2 bedrooms and a loft that has 2 king sized beds and a futon. The cabin offers 1 full bath on each floor for your convenience. Summary: Had a great stay. Was clean, decent amount of room for a big group, would have been ever better if it wasn't too cold to use the deck or enjoy the river. Kind of an odd neighborhood but we had no issues.

Summary: A bit closer to the mobile home park than expected but what a great cabin and location. Woke up each morning and fished. Enjoyed the local free music in town on Sat night. Went canoeing about 10 min away. Mt Ida has the best people and will definitely be back. My kids made friends with the neighbors and invited them to come swimming so even though we were closer than I expected to others it worked out perfectly. The beds were sooo comfortable and my kids loved having an upstairs to themselves

Summary: Nice/clean/spacious cabin right on the river! It had rained quite a bit the day before our reservation so the river was up considerably. We weren't able to enjoy being in the water with how high and fast it was moving. However, we did enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset and my fiance actually proposed to me on the bank of the river. We definitely plan to go back with our kids when the river isn't so high. My favorite part of the cabin was the direct view of the river from the upstairs shower window.

Summary: This place sets on the river and the back deck has enough room for just chilling out. We definitely recommend bringing water toys and kayaks river has some rapids just up stream and just down stream from it with a slight calm spot right behind the cabin. We absolutely loved it

Summary: My husband and I spent 5 nights with our 9 & 12 year olds at this peaceful cabin. We loved every second of our stay. It is updated and very clean with comfy beds. The river was absolutely perfect. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch watching the river, rain or shine, and we spend a lot of time in the water. A neighbor let us borrow his kayaks for a couple days, which made our stay even more perfect. All of the neighbors were very friendly, but we didn't see anyone when we were on the cabin property. We visited a couple of the local crystal mines, which were only 10 - 15 mins away, but there was a lot of quartz to be found on the river banks, as well! We hope to visit again soon.

Summary: Cabin is located steps from the River, which offers great views, fishing and the sounds of water falling over rapids. House is tastefully, comfortably and thoughtfully furnished. The Owner thought of everything! Beds are comfortable and kitchen is furnished with everything you might need. Bathrooms reflect top-end renovations. Fresh cookies awaited our arrival, and. With its were friendly. You won’t be disappointed

Summary: This was the best girls trip I've had in a long long time! The cabin was easy to find and comfortably situated very close to town center and only a couple of miles away from the grocery store and anything else you may need(Dollar General, hardware store , eating.....). The cabin was clean and roomy, even though it was just the two of us it would comfortably accommodate 6 more especially if they had children. The kitchen had everything you might need as we made dinner every night. If you are going to dig for crystals it is perfectly situated close to 3 mines with Twin Creek being our favorite. Wegners also has a very good rock shop and super friendly people and we highly recommend both. The river runs right in front and that would be fun for kids as well. All in all this was an excellent and relaxing trip for us and we will be back next year. Thank you Ms Busby for a great stay!!!
