Summary: A delightful old wooden house literally right on the beach. You are living in a piece of kiwi history, but it seems pretty well insulated as the fire and the electric heaters do a great job of keeping you warm. It's an old house, so don't be surprised by the ageing plumbing or the borer tracks in the floor. The resident sealion will sleep on the beach nearby or may come for a walk through the garden. Beautiful, relaxing, oh so wonderfully rural, a truly wonderful bach getaway.

Summary: This property is exactly what it says it is and how it looks in the pictures. It is old but full of character, rough around the edges but perfect for family fun. It has a lovely feel despite being a little the worse for wear. And if you get good weather you couldn't beat the location. The ocean is chilly so you need a warm day for a swim bit the bay is very safe for children. Kayaking was fun, as was sand dune surfing. We met "Jaws" the resident sea lion and saw lots of sea birds up close. Great family holiday.

Summary: Our family have had the time of our lives at this beach paradise, aptly named BEACH HAVEN.. 🏖️ Everything is very well catered for, you want for nothing. To see the ships passing at your own private backyard, watching the sun poke its rays over Tairoa Heads while having your breakfast and fresh coffee from the bench seat and down to the resident seal sunning himself on the beach under the pines... Absolute perfection!! 👌❤️

Summary: A step back in time to the life of our grandparents. What a stunning location and a place with an incredibly interesting history. Waking to sea lions right next to the house, watching large ships passing so close, great walks to enjoy, an experience not to be missed.

Summary: Stunning location at end of sand spit near Aramoana. Local aquatic wildlife (seal) came to visit a couple of times. Great walks up either side of sand spit, salt marsh walkway, the Mole & around streets of Aramoana. House is rustic & quirky. Lots of rooms and space. Great outdoor areas with views to Tairoa Head & open sea or back up Otago harbour towards Port Chalmers.
