Welcome to Rock Harbor Cottages. "The Boathouse" spent the last 50+ years as a waterfront storage shed. We were faced with a tough decision, tear it down or rebuild it. We rebuilt it into an amazing cottage, not on the water but IN the water. The view is second only to the over sized 2+ person whirlpool tub. Nothing better than waking up in bed and opening your eyes to the amazing view and hearing the sounds of the water. Close to dining, shopping, beaches, Cedar Point, fishing, and Lake Erie
Fully furnished. Sleeps up to 5. Converted boathouse 1 room with loft and 1 bath efficiency on the water. 1 Queen bed and 1 futon o. The main floor and a full matress on the floor of the loft (pictures coming soon). The loft is limited to those that are quick and nimble such as kids. The height is limited at around 4 feet in the peak. It does have its own heat and air vent along with light. Air Conditioning, heat, flat screen cable tv, and Wifi. It includes a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, and stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, all necessary utensils, dishes, pots and pans, ect...). Outside there is a gas grill, fire table, patio with table and chairs on the water. The cottage is less than 10 feet (yes thats right 10 feet) from the water where you can catch bass, bluegill, catfish, perch, and crappie or just sit back and watch the day float by and catch beautiful sunsets. The rental includes a free dock space that can accommodate up to a 22 ft boat.

To keep our prices low, linens are not included in the price, nor do we charge a cleaning fee. You will need to bring linens with you (sheets, pillows, towels, and blanket). Linen service can be arranged for an additional fee just let us know once you reserve. We do provide other essentials, dish soap, sponge, towel, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and basic cleaning supplies.
Also from the property we operate Reef Bobber Charters. Fish western Lake Erie for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Perch aboard the Reef Bobber IV. The Reef Bobber IV is a 28 foot Marinette Sport Fishermen with a beam of 11 feet. The fishing deck is large enough to accommodate up to 6 fisherman and crew with large coolers for seating. Under the convertible soft top is seating for 9 to get out of the sun and weather. Under the bow is plenty of room to store your gear and a toilet for when nature calls. The boat is fully equipped, insured, and Coast Guard inspected and approved. Our Captain Brad Miller is an United States Coast Guard and State of Ohio Licensed Guide with a lifetime of experience.
We offer sunset, 1/4 day, 1/2 day, 3/4 day and full day walleye, perch, and smallmouth bass fishing charters. Also custom trips, private island taxi service, dock and dine cruises to either Put in Bay and Kelleys Island available.

Summary: It is small but so peaceful and right on the water. The inside is perfect. Beautiful sunsets! The tub is to die for. Bobbers restaurant is within walking distance, very friendly, not pricy, and excellent food. Fresh Walleye and Perch!

Summary: My husband and I had an amazing stay at this little cabin, it was the perfect size for us! It was right on the water, the view was fabulous! Just sitting outside watching the boats and people on jet skis was so relaxing. So close to the ferry for Kelly's Island and lots of great restaurants and ice cream places too! HIGHLY recommended!

Summary: We absolutely loved this house. We have already discussed returning for a longer stay. We only spend one night, but we fell in love. It was so relaxing to sit inside and watch out the sliding glass door at the water and the boats going by. We had some family stop over and enjoyed sitting out at the table. The queen size bed on the first floor was very comfortable. We only popped up to look at the loft, but it looked like a cozy place to sleep. The bathroom was huge and there was tons of places to store our belongings. Will definitely go back.
