Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Wave. Beautiful hotel and area, super friendly and helpful people, and a very pretty and comfortable spacious room. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area. Highly recommend!!

Summary: The decor of this property was very nice - bright hallways, very clean. Kind of Scandinavian decor. Staff was friendly. It was very convenient to the places we wanted to go and is right across the street from Lake Erie. The downside for us is that we are in our 70s the beds were on low platforms which made it harder to get in and out of the bed, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, but had no countertop or shelves to put toiletries on. We did not eat at the facility. They only have brunch on weekends, so we went in town to a place called Latitudes for a very nice breakfast. When we asked where a gas station was, no one seemed to know, which we thought was very strange. We had to travel about 7 miles to find one in Port Clinton.

Summary: This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the water. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The decor was perfect. We liked that we could walk to the lighthouse :)The TV had great reception and wi-fi was good too. Cell phone service was a little sketchy because of the area. We would have liked snack options up front. We did not eat at the Hotel, but it does have a beautiful restaurant.
