Positive: The playground was a hit for our kids. I enjoyed that we could sit on the deck and relax while they played right there, in sight. The view was amazing and we loved that we could cook our meals instead of constantly needing to eat out.
Negative: The beds were not overly comfortable and the lighting in the cottages themselves could be a bit better.

Positive: The location is exceptional! Lots to do in the area and beautiful scenic views from the deck The outdoor areas were spotless They allowed for an early check in which was very appreciated The owners respect privacy and do not enter the cottage without permission
Negative: The interior does require some "sprucing up". The towels, pillows and bed coverings are very old and dated. We purchased our own towels, blankets and dish towels/cloths A fresh coat of paint inside would really help to showcase the beauty and charm of the cottage We found a pair of old underwear under our bed which was disappointing The propane stove filled the cottage with nauseating fumes, even with all the windows open. We were grateful for the BBQ! When buying groceries, keep this in mind There is no hair dryer on site The listing stated that toiletries were included however we were only provided a very small container of only shower gel and shampoo-not enough for 4 people for one day let alone a week. We purchased our own at the market

Positive: Many people hate on the cottages being dirty and dated, that was not our case at all. Soon as we entered, we were braced by the nice smell of a real wood home. The floor bathroom bed and everything else is as clean as it could be. The bed is surprisingly comfy. The kitchen amenities are quite used, but fully functional. We always made our own breakfast and even cooked a seafood dinner. The surrounding is simply amazing. It was just minutes away from Cavendish and North Rustico. Easy access to the whole island, we traveled to the furthest point in the north, west and south of the island with ease. The whole area felt very secured and cozy. The ocean view never got old. There were also native fox in the area, they are friendly and cute. Staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. They assisted with our late check in and offered us extra shampoo when needed.
Negative: The kitchen amenities could be renewed a little and maybe more condiment can be provided. Consider adding a hair dryer would be a huge upgrade. The sofa was less comfortable then the patio chair.

Positive: The pillow were horrible. The couch was not great. For a family of 4 and 3 year old. Only had 3 dining chairs. Couch was a love seat.
Negative: Good beds. Beautiful view. Great playground

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The kids especially loved the play area and spent hours having fun. The location and atmosphere made for a relaxing family getaway. There are a few areas that could be improved. The rooms could benefit from renovation and updating, and some of the kitchen vessels and utensils were in very poor condition and should be replaced. With these improvements, the overall guest experience would be much better. Overall, we had a great time and created many happy family memories during our stay.

Positive: This was more dated than expected, including bedding, furniture, towels, etc.There was a used sponge in our sink and an empty tub in our room. We were on top of the only other guests at the facility. Their deck peered straight into our cabin. We could hear them talking and their music the whole time. You also have to purchase the firewood for the fire pits. Check-in was easy, but I would not stay here again.
