Positive: Hector and Isabel are a lovely couple that we will never forget. They welcomed us with a plate of fruit and Hector brought us fruit and vegetables from his garden. Whatever we asked for they provided.

Positive: Located just opposite the beach, a few minutes from a supermarket. Very comfortable. Staff very helpful. I was able to hire a bike through them. I also did a volcano hike and my shoes were covered in mud. I left them outside my room and woke up to find them super clean. I liked the fact it had a little kitchen so i was able to make my own meals.
Negative: Not much not to like.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of the local market, making it easy to explore the island without needing transportation. The property felt very safe and secure, and the hospitality was outstanding. Don Hector was an incredible host who regularly checked in with us and was always available whenever we needed anything. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay on Ometepe with a great location and a host who genuinely cares about his guests, we would definitely recommend staying here.
Negative: the hot water in the shower did not work, during our stay. Its not necessary during the hot days, but the water is slightly cold at night.
Summary: One of the most caring and accommodating stays we have stayed at yet

Positive: The location across from the beach was excellent. The breeze coming off the water is so refreshing and made for an easy sleep. Hector is a gem, offering fruits and assistance and a reliable scooter and all sorts of other help. It was a pleasure to stay for a week. :)

Positive: We had an amazing stay here and it was really hard to leave. Hector is an extremely kind host, and the food right across the street is incredible. We stayed in July and Playa Santa Cruz was really quiet and a great place to be.
