Positive: We loved our stay in Finca Mystica, the area is really beautiful. The rooms are great, maybe the bathroom needs a little bit of love. Staff is super friendly and the food excellent and not so expensive even though you can’t really eat anywhere close by.
Negative: There is around 5-6km of rough roads to get to the hotel. You don’t need a 4x4 but you do need a suv with good clearance.

Positive: Amazing staff, super delicious food,monkeys,birds,butterflies,giant frogs…felt so great here!
Negative: A little but problematic way to the hostel but if you go slow you can do it (with scooter).
Summary: The most wonderful accomodation I’ve ever stayed. Eventhough located in jungle everything was clean without bugs.

Positive: Amazing atmosphere! The farm stay offers a lot of activities such as horse riding or canoeing. You are always surrounded by nature. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Oh and their cooking… out of this world!
Negative: The only thing to write here is that it’s very warm inside the rooms, because there are no A/Cs which is good, because it’s an eco friendly farm

Negative: I conduct thorough research before booking lodging with one of the top items I look for being comfortable rooms with AC. The room description when booking clearly stated room is kept cool no AC needed so trusted the description. Our room was insanely hot and this is coming from people who use AC sparingly back home even in the summer. We had a very hard time sleeping and we’re disappointed and frustrated that we felt misled by the description. Granted we were there toward the end of the dry/hot season, but would have never booked this place. Just know what you are getting into before you go, if you go when hot (in our case, 90 plus degree weather) and hope the owners are more forthcoming in adjusting the description of their rooms.

Positive: Finca mystica is amazing! The place is wonderful and the staff is so nice. I felt really welcomed and I'll definitely go back again 100 times more. Everything is really clean, lots of nature, many fruit trees 💗 Plus: I got sick from the journey and they worried about me, they even got me liquid oral rehydration salts (suero), so thankful for that.
