This beautiful beachside cottage is a great escape for a couple or small family.
With a view of the Northumberland Strait, it is the last cottage on the hill before the ramp down to a spectacular red sand beach. When the tide comes in during the day over the hot sand, the warm gulf stream water creates a perfect swimming opportunity. Think warm water with sand underfoot for literally miles . At low tide, you can walk for miles searching for shells, or just for exercise.
The 2-bedroom cottage has an open and well-equipped kitchen and dining room, as well as bathroom with shower. Summary: Norah was a pleasure to deal with. Even offered a few days extra for free as Fiona was coming our way. Cottage was nice and cozy for our stay and beautiful beaches went for miles.

Summary: It a place to relax, read a book and eat lobster ( check out Chases for lobster). Walking on the beach at low tide is fun. Swimming is good if you have water shoes. There were no beach chairs to laze around the beach.

Summary: The property was as described and was everything we needed! The kitchen had lots of supplies and the covered deck was amazing! Great for a morning coffee or dinner with friends and family! The sand flats can’t be beat. Loved our vacation!

Summary: The cottage and location were ideal. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the beach, doing day trips to Pugwash, Tatamagouche, etc. and having beach pretty much to ourselves. Cottage is spacious (three of us), fully equipped, clean and cozy. We would love to come back for longer next year.

Summary: We had a great few days and even got a bonus day. I called Norah & no one was booked the next day. It was just the right size. Perfect for the 4 of us and our little Jax. It was a bonus that she allowed little dogs. The cottage was very clean & had everything you would need. We over packed of course. The BBQ was a bonus as we cooked all our meals on it. Having the covered patio was worth it. It sprinkled a few times and we were able to still sit out. It was a bonus! The view was amazing and so were the sunsets. The path to the beach as literally across from the property. The beach was amazing. We spent hours swimming, walking and relaxing. To spend hours on the ocean floor is something. Would I go back again? 100%! The four of us enjoyed our long weekend. We arrived on a Thursday & left Monday. There is a convenience store close by & they are also an NSLC agent. The only thing that would have been an added bonus would of been a fire pit. Even a propane one on the patio.
