Positive: The rooms are very clean and there is a nice seating area in front on the porch. There's a shared kitchen that is well equipped and 2 BBQs. The coin laundry is handy and there is an outdoor shower which is good when coming from the beach. The beach is close but very shallow so not great for swimming. The dog loves it. Great view of the sunset from the beach road. People are fantastic.
Negative: The room is very small and the walls are thin so you can hear the next room but there is a quiet time after 10 and people all were very quiet. Generally a very quiet place.

Positive: I was impressed by all of the amenities, even if I didn't use all of them. Also, the cabin was just so cute and quaint, with a little but of mid century vibe. I took advantage of being walking distance to the beach and lighthouse in the morning.
Negative: While I'm sure it was probably clean, the shower tile floor needs redoing. Also, a Keurig coffeemaker would have been nice, as is the standard in most other similar properties I've stayed at recently. The basket that the filter sits in was turned around backwards, which results in no coffee in my cup since the hole wasn't aligned. It wasn't obvious and took me a while to figure out. All in all, you have a great property there and I would stay there again. This is just constructive feedback to make it better.

Positive: A charming location, 2 minutes walk from the sea. Comfortable, with heating if necessary.
Negative: The owner forewarned in the booking acceptance that there would be no local restaurant or food store open after 6pm in September. They also pointed out that the sound insulation between cabins is poor. They were right on both counts!

Positive: Really liked the amenities provided and the usable community spaces.
Negative: The mattresses are in serious need of an upgrade. We are not heavy people but the old spring mattresses are worn out and very uncomfortable and short. Could feel every spring and they sag in the middle. Also, the bulb in the ceiling light produces low light even when switch is off. Not sure if this is intended as a kind of night light or is some kind of an anomaly but not a fan. Place has really good blackout blinds so this bulb really defeats the purpose. One more thing which is not unique to this property but it has the small round satin buckle door knobs that make opening the door difficult if you have any grip issues.
Summary: Nice spot - but time for new mattresses!
