Seaweed Holiday Home is a modern 3-bedroom holiday house located in the seaside town of Combe Martin on the North Devon coast. This newly refurbished self-catering property comfortably accommodates up to six guests plus two dogs and is within easy walking distance of the beach and local amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants.
The house itself has a nautical theme and has been tastefully decorated throughout. Parking is immediately to the front of the house making it easy to park up and unload before setting off to find the beach. You enter the house via the lovely conservatory with wood bench and space for hanging coats or storing boots. Guests can also enter the house via the rear patio, which is great for those with wet dogs or sandy children, as here you will find a handy outdoor tap with a hose attachment, as well as a purpose built wet-suit hanger. For Easter 2021, a lockable storage facility ideal for bikes, kayaks or surfboards will be located to the rear of the house.
Once inside there is a large open plan living area divided into a comfy lounge, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. In the lounge there are two double sofas and an armchair, other features in the sitting area are a TV with freeview and a lovely wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy winter evenings after a day walking the South West Coast Path. The dining area has a table to seat six and meals can be created within the kitchen, which is fitted with an electric cooker and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage, the first is located on the ground floor and has a standard double bed, this room is situated next door to the downstairs bathroom, which has a walk-in shower, a wash basin and a WC. The final two bedrooms are on the first floor and include a second double with standard size double bed and a large double with super king size bed, which on request can be separated into two single beds. Finally, on the first floor there is a family bathroom that has a bath with shower overhead, a wash basin and a WC.
DOG/PET POLICY
Two dogs are welcome at Seaweed. There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and the additional charge will be added to your booking. All payments must be made prior to arrival.

Summary: We all had a beautiful holiday in seaweed was such a lovely clean & pleasent home to stay in was great that there was a downstairs bedroom & bathroom was perfect for my mum who is 94 yrs the location was perfect.was made even more special to be welcomed with a welcoming pack the Swedish chocolate cake with clotted cream was delicious including the bottle of Prosecco & other treats thankyou to the lovely Nikki & Mark for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home would definitely return again love Maryanne,Eileen,Craig & Joan xx xx xx xx

Summary: 3rd visit to seaweed and loved it. Great location, fantastic house and we will be back again. Wonderful homemade bread and wine, with house snug and warm when we landed. Teenagers and dog all excited to be back in Combe Martin

Summary: Seaweed Cottage was a very comfortable, clean, bright and roomy home from home. It was spacious for a family of four (adults) and dog! Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with all we needed, including bed linen and towels. Showers were decent and there is a handy porch for coats and boots. It was literally a 5 minute walk to Combe Martin beach, shops and cafe's. The Black and White chippy was great (3 min walk), and the Ice cream parlour Sugar Rush was amazing. There is not much of a garden, but we didn't feel the need to have one as were so close to the beach. We would highly recommend Seaweed, for anyone wanting a holiday near the beach, in a very nice cottage.

Summary: We had October half term at Seaweed with our 3 children and cocker spaniel. The house was one minute walk from the beach and nice little town centre which includes some lovely small independent shops/cafe/ice cream shops etc. Fantastic coast walks, all in walking distance. The house was perfect. It's a great layout, plenty of room for us all to have a comfortable stay. It was spotless! Everything was thought about, the owners certainly went the extra mile. The woodburner fire was the extra special touch and gave us cozy relaxed evenings. Communications with the owners was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Summary: It's our second visit to Seaweed which we enjoyed very much. Just a stones throw from the beach and some lovely countryside. Also plenty of shops for supplies, excellent fish & chips from the Black& White. The Focsle Inn , right on the beach is good for pub meals.

Summary: This is an excellent property very clean and all the amenities you need with a few extras that the lovely Nikka supplied, milk butter jam sourdough bread wine and lovely vase if flowers. Nikki and Mark were very helpful and in contact if needed. We would definitely recommend this property

Summary: Wonderful accommodation ideally situated within 3 minute walk to the beach and with two parking spaces outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in August from the minute we arrived. So many thoughtful little treats had been left for us including home made bread. The house was extremely clean and the owners eye for detail has to be seen to be believed. Communication with Nikki and Mark on What’s App meant that any small query we had was dealt with immediately. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future.

Summary: We’ve stayed at Seaweed Cottage many times, yet when you walk through the door it feels like we’re the first ever visitors. The cottage is immaculate and cozy. It’s the small details that make us feel special: chocolates on the bed, bubbles in the fridge, and a yummy homemade Swedish chocolate cake. We were there to celebrate Christmas with family. So it was nice to have a decorated Christmas tree & holiday decor throughout the B & B. We would recommend Seaweed cottage to all our friends and family.

Summary: This lovely house was spanking clean, airy and cheerful. The kitchen has everything and more that we needed. The owners had added many kind, thoughtful extras to make our stay special. It’s in a lovely spot - two minutes from the beach. Local shops, cafes and restaurants are also on the doorstep. One of the bedrooms and shower room are downstairs, which was very helpful. I would recommend unreservably.
