Casa de Nelson, Section 6 Lot 36 is a spectacular house on the beach in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), mexico. The house in located in the gated community of Las Conchas about 2 1/2 miles from the main part of town, one mile from the guard gate. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors offer unobstructed views and easy access to the beach six stepout the door. Secure Parking is behind the front yard gates. The neighborhood is patrolled by the security team 24/7.
The large fully appointed kitchen opens to the great room and dining area with seating for six and views of the water. New appliances complete the kitchen with everything you’ll need for a great vacation: refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, blender, pots,pans, dishes,cups, glasses, silverware and utensils.
Water at the small faucet and the ice cube maker is filtered by reverse osmosis and drinkable without risk.
Outside is a charcoal BBQ, bring charcoal and lighter.
The full length patio is partly covered for shade or sun, you’re choice. Lounge chairs, and a table and chairs make out door dining easy and memorable. Stairs from the patio will lead you to a perfect nearly private beach.
The master bedroom, with king size bed, looks out to the water and has an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. Shelves are provided in all the closets for clothes and personal belongings. Bedrooms number two and three are on the opposite side of the house and share the second bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a king size bed, bedroom #3 has two single beds. Both bedrooms have sliding doors to the front yard.
This house can accommodate six persons.
WiFi and DTV are included free of charge. Central A/C and heat make your stay comfortable. WiFi password is on the modem on the bar in the dining room.
The beach side patio offers a fire pit for your evening enjoyment, please don’t use the fireplace in the great room.

Summary: This is our third time staying at Casa de Nelson. We looked at other properties, but this place just has it all for us. We did have an issue that nobody had any control over as it was weather related. We had a pretty good rain that caused very small roof leak over the master bedroom that, literally, was just a drip. Annoying, but some extra bath towels and the dryer took care of the issue. Nothing anything anybody could do or predict. We did have a check-in issue due to a communication issue with VRBO, not the fault of the host at all. We plan on being back next year!

Summary: Great location, clean and well-kept, secure parking behind a private gate, and beautiful beach views with direct access to the sand. The large, open concept living/dining/kitchen is comfortable, bright and inviting. The bedrooms are comfortable - just be warned, only 1 TV in the living room, but you're on vacation anyway! There is a newer, lower tier to the patio with pavers (in the pics it's sand and plants below the fire pit level) that is awesome - it's like you're sitting right on the beach.Another plus - for those who have never been to Puerto Penasco, the tide goes out very far during low tide. Most of the surrounding beach is very rocky when the tide goes out, but this house is situated directly in front of a sand bar, so there's pretty much clear sand all the way to the water.Walmart is right down the street, and we found it very easy to drive to and from the Malecon area for fantastic seafood.We were a little confused finding the place because the numbering system is screwy - sections 7 and 8 come first, so you think you've missed section 6 where the house is located, but 6 is actually after 7 and 8 for some reason! We drove back to the very helpful security post at the front and had a good laugh!We will definitely look to re-book this location!

Summary: This house and property are phenomenal!! Plenty of dishes and utensils, extra blankets, beach chairs. Toilet paper and paper towels, even bathroom supplies, shampoo, conditioner, soaps!!Private parking area was great, games and books available. I will definitely recommend this property to everyone!!I have severe allergies and always take a clean pillow case on trips.. thank you for NOT using strong detergents and fabric softeners!We felt safe the entire time in our home away from home!!

Summary: We had everything we needed: excellent location on a sandy beach, sufficient amenities and shade. The owner/manager is very responsive and we would not hesitate to book this house again. The next door house is currently undergoing construction. We had limited privacy and all day construction noise so that was the only negative aspect.
