Head up the stairs and get acquainted with your new home away from home! Step inside, and you'll find yourself in the living and dining area of Berry Nice Beach House! With large, picturesque windows of the ocean view, you won't mind being indoors on those rainy Oregon coast days, watching the waves crash against the shoreline. There's plenty of seating in the front room, on the comfy blue couch. Pop a movie into the DVD player, and relax with your friends and family before heading off to sleep.
Head on over to the kitchen area, where you'll find another small table for eating at, right next to the patio doors. It's a great place to enjoy your coffee from in the morning. The fully functional kitchen comes with everything you could possibly need while staying at Berry Nice Beach House. Summary: When we arrived we noticed that there were no sheets of blankets on one of the beds. We searched the home for more sheets but we were unable to find them and had to take sheets off of the upstairs bed. There was a half empty beer can on the table in the pool room. There were large rodent droppings in the garage area. Deck was very small and did not allow you to sit out and view the ocean. There was NO beach access. The kitchen was crawling with ants!

Summary: This is a beautiful property in a great location. It is reasonably priced being it is south of Newport. We loved the space, although it does smell a bit musty. Downstairs it is the strongest in the master and rooms adjacent. The deck off of the kitchen is very enjoyable. We wanted to use the grill, but it had a sign on it that said out of order. The property manager would not fix it.

Summary: My family and I stayed here over a long weekend. It was very nice. Lots of stairs though that I wasn't prepared for, but it had a lot of stuff in order for us to have fun as a family and had a very close access to the beach, although the pass is very steep.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The place we stayed was great, bright,well furnished and very comfortable. The view of the ocean was gorgeous.

Summary: House was clean and living room furniture was actually newer and nicer than what was pictured. My kids enjoyed the toys and VHS tapes. One downside was that the room on the top floor has an indoor window looking into the kitchen, which was a little challenging at kid bedtime. It’s possible that the posting makes that clear and we didn’t read throughly- I haven’t gone back to check. We had a great time anyway.

Summary: The property worked out ok for our group (5 adults, 2 kids) but it was not without its discomforts. That said it was reasonable value compared to alternatives in the area, but we did then go on to another property in Bend for about the same money that was immaculate, which rather put things in perspective. Pros: - kitchen/living area on main floor is really nice, good view, clean and comfortable - Bedroom on main area and large bedroom downstairs are good and clean - Upstairs rooms also clean and nice enough (kids did not report problems with the uncomfortable bed that others have mentioned, but they are not that sensitive to such things..) but do open directly into the kitchen/lounge area with no door, so you need to be quite downstairs if you want the kids to sleep. - location is functional: nice walks down to lovely beach, short drives to lots of great things, but the immediate neighborhood is purely residential, no shops etc (but we knew that when we booked it) - parking for 2 cars no problem, could easily fit another Cons: - the downstairs bedroom next to the garage smells flat-out bad, it was not pleasant sleeping in there and the furniture is a bit of a jumble of old stuff including the bed which was not good - other downstairs areas also pretty damp, musty and rough at the edges - kitchen not very well stocked - The photos of the property are from somewhat happier days and the exterior in particular seems more run-down now.

Summary: Need to download directions before you get there, due to lack of road internet; the neighborhood is great, trail/stairs to beach down to road to left, clearly marked. Younger family members did psycho path, lots of climbing. Cons - Upstairs bedroom with twin and queen bed a problem since larger bed is so worn out it is not usable. Smaller room upstairs with crib would be nice if it had a twin bed to make it a usable bedroom. Downstairs bedroom next to garage is musty smelling, could bother some folks. Ovens could use a good cleaning, racks had been baked on directly and still had food stuck to them. And kitchen could use a tea kettle. Not being able to use fireplace was kinda weird. And more blankets would be nice. Not enough hot water heater capacity to fill Jetted tub in downstairs large bedroom. Pros - House is huge, lots of space for family of 6 to use, kids loved all the levels to play hide and seek, tv had lots of streaming access, internet works great, lots of games, room to park 3 vehicles easily. All and all, I would consider staying here again with my family, I would make sure to take certain things into consideration for our family’s comfort.

Summary: There were only two wash cloths for the entire house! The BBQ doesn’t work and the front left element on the stove doesn’t work properly. Thank goodness in the email I received it had the WiFi password, because the paper on the wall does not have the correct password! And the Wi-Fi was iffy at best. There were a ton of light bulbs out in the house and cob webs everywhere! We really had to search for garbage bags for the kitchen too!!
