A full renovation to this beautiful and private oceanfront home was completed in May 2024, bringing a modern sensibility to the Oregon Coast. With sweeping, unobstructed views of the ocean, you’ll feel like you have the Pacific all to yourself. Whether you’re inside looking out the many west-facing windows or lounging on two levels of deck, the ocean near Seal Rock is front and center. The very best room in the home may be the massive outdoor deck, with seating, dining, and unparalleled ocean views. Look north to see Yaquina Head Lighthouse or south
toward Seal Rock State Park. The glass rail system on the deck allows for clear sightlines to beautiful sunsets and migrating whales. Indoors, the living room cantilevers out over a lower deck, allowing space for an oversized sofa, two reading chairs and two leather swivel chairs, for breathtaking views of the waves or watching your favorite program on the 65-inch television. The new dining room seats six comfortably and rests next to huge ocean-facing windows. A
stunning wall of local and sustainable alder wood by a local craftsperson compliments vintage Oregon Myrtlewood side tables, giving you a sense of place found only in the Pacific Northwest.
A fully equipped chef’s kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counters has a long window for watching the crashing surf and bald eagles soar across the sky. The two bedrooms have been enlarged to allow ample space for sleeping comfortably while creating separate areas for conversation or reading, with sumptuous beds, one with its own TV. A den has been added for additional private sleeping quarters with TV and conversation/reading space. The two bathrooms with their high-end finishes and dramatic floor-to-ceiling tile give a contemporary and crisp spa vibe.
Beach access is close by and gives you unlimited walking on this quiet stretch of coast. While the location feels secluded, you are centrally located between Newport and Waldport with the conveniences of larger stores, charming restaurants, and popular attractions only minutes away.

Summary: Pacific House is a stunner, immaculate, newly renovated, with a perfect oceanfront ambiance to enjoy from two deck areas. The house is spacious , well appointed and generously stocked and has comfortable beds and beachy , cozy furnishings more than ample for six guests, though we were only two. The house is perfectly located, just a few minutes drive to the beach, and a short distance to charming old Newport and the view of the ocean and sunsets from its deck are to die for. For those who must have privacy, the neighbor's house and deck are very close on one side of the property. This didn't bother us as the neighbors were not home during our stay. When we visit again, and we will often, we will certainly reserve Pacific House. We only wish it was dog friendly, because on those occasions when we chose to bring our dog with us, we will have to reserve a different accommodation.

Summary: The views were amazing! The property has been remodeled and is absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen had everything we needed. We walked to the beach every morning and evening. We enjoying walking, so not an issue for us. There are couple different routes to the beach, but none are from the property, so just research which route works best for you. Or it’s about a two minute drive. The property manger is awesome.

Summary: Beautiful property. Only frustration was inability to close the shades in later part of the day to shield ourselves from the sun. Could also use a food trap for the kitchen sink. Called Meridith to ask how to closes shades but no help. But home, property, and view were all first rate and we really enjoyed our stay. Would rate at least 4.5 out of 5.

Summary: The view was unbeatable. Great access to beach if you don't mind a steep, but very short, trail down to the sand. We are definitely going again.

Summary: I had a lovely time at this cozy home away from home. It was the perfect location for exploring the coast, north and south. It has the best views and hearing the ocean even with everything closed up was magical. Bonus American eagle nesting in tree about 10 feet from the driveway. Only about 3-5 min drive in either direction to beach access including Seal Rock with was my favorite spot to explore during low tide (starfish, sea anemones, shrimp, birds, etc). Great for working remotely also, though had to reset the Wifi daily which was no big deal. I feel very grateful and thankful!!! House could however use a spring deep clean and good power washing of lower deck before including table/chairs. There were lots of mouse droppings in the living room along the perimeter (thankfully vacuum was accessible). The lower deck is also VERY slippery when wet, and table/chairs were unusable due to mold/moss.

Summary: Huge windows with a view of the ocean from almost every room. Small house but very cozy. The only thing missing is beach access since the home is on a bluff.
