The Beach House is located 15 minutes south of downtown Omaha. Your family will love staying in our lake-side beach house while having easy access to the Omaha metro. Enjoy Omaha's Old Market District, Black Stone District, Aksarben Village, Holland Arts Center, Joslyn Museum, Omaha Children's Museum, Henry Doorly Zoo, Century Link Convention Center, Olympic Swim Trial events and Casinos in Council Bluffs. It's the perfect place to stay for the College World Series (CWS), Youth Baseball camps, Berkshire Hathaway Annual Stockholders Meeting and more!! Visitors come from as far away as England and as close as west Omaha to enjoy the Beach House.
The Beach House underwent a complete renovation in 2019. On the outside of the home new retaining walls were added as well as all new landscaping. Inside, every main level room was completely renovated and is essentially brand new from floor to ceiling including all of the furniture. The 2,700 square foot Beach House boasts an amazing open floor plan designed for socializing with views of the beach and lake from all rooms. The kitchen includes all new cabinetry, appliances, quartz countertop, induction stove top and all the cooking essentials that make cooking fun! The dining area is complete with a 100 year old table for 6 people and another 3 can be seated at the bar. The kitchen/dining area opens up to family and living room areas which makes it a dream for entertaining and socializing with family or friends. This state of the art home has Alexa devices available in all rooms, which also control the lighting and unlimited Amazon music access. Sliding doors in all rooms take you out to the furnished patio where you can watch the sunset over the lake or view resident wildlife including bald eagles and blue heron as well as migrating fowl like pelicans and cormorant ducks in the spring and fall. Relax on the beach by the water or by the fire pit outdoors in the evenings and wake up to stunning lake views in the mornings. Spend the day by the lake and take in the city during the evening. You will absolutely love your time here at the Beach House and leave completely relaxed.

Summary: The beach house was so wonderful. It was clean, well kept, comfortable and all other positive things. Brad was so nice to work with. and helped with all of our questions. I couldn't recommend this place anymore. So glad we found it!

Summary: We had an incredible time at this home. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. It really is exactly like the pictures. The beach is perfect for young kids since it is a very mild slope. Brad was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We had no luck fishing, but that didn't ruin our trip. The only reason I have it 4 stars is the smell of the water. I know it has been addressed in other reviews. But it is very strong and overpowers the house for a little while. The shower in the sunroom seemed to smell less, so all 7 of us showered in there.

Summary: We had an amazing time at Brad's Beach House!! :) Brad was an amazing host and his house is absolutely gorgeous! Our three young boys spent hours playing in the sand and swimming in the lake. We also were close enough to Omaha to explore the sights there as well. We finished each day playing volleyball and making smores. We were beyond happy with our stay. Thanks Brad!!

Summary: Brad is a great host and thoroughly delivers the perfect Beach House. We could not have had a better stay. The flow of the house and user interactivity added to the enjoyment. It was the kind of place you wanted to get up early and enjoy a cup of coffee out on the patio or dock watching the sunrise, and stay up late and enjoy the company in the open spaces of the house. Five star property with a five star host. Plan on returning.

Summary: We came to Omaha for the Olympic Swimming Trials. We wanted a vacation home on the water to stay in so we could enjoy hanging out as a family, instead of using hotel rooms. It worked out perfectly for us. It is about a 25 minute drive into the city. We commuted back and forth and enjoyed the quiet lake community. Brad has great neighbors and he was very hospitable and welcoming to us. He even hung an Olympic flag in his front yard in enthusiasm for our son being a qualifier! Brad responded quickly to questions and was available and helpful to us during our stay. The house was well stocked and very clean. He loves indoor and outdoor plants and we didn't mind watering those for him during our week long stay, which he asked us to do. The third upstairs bedroom is accessed by a spiral metal staircase, which wasn't a problem for us because we put two teenage daughters up there, but it might be helpful to know depending on the ages of guests. The beds were very comfortable, which is important to me. Overall, it was a great place and we would stay here again! Thanks, Brad, for your warm welcome!

Summary: It was a bit of a last minute trip and Brad was very responsive in helping to accommodate us. My wife and I with our 2 kids (one 6 weeks old!) and 2 sets of grandparents all got together to have a relaxing weekend at the lake house. There was plenty of room in the house for us all when we were inside, although we spent the majority of the time on the back patio/ beach. Whilst we were only there for a short time we did get out for some food and I can highly recommend Stella's for its burgers. When it comes to booking a home rather than a hotel one of the main things I look for is responsiveness and customer service. Brad really excelled on this. Both leading up to and during our stay no questions seemed too mundane (right down to where are the bags for the corn hole!). He was very quick and helpful in all responses. I would definitely recommend this property to someone looking for a relaxing time away with family - I know its on my radar for our next trip up towards Omaha.
