1 Bedroom Cabin in Scarborough

SEA BISQUIT COTTAGE, spacious and bright one bedroom cottage. Vaulted ceiling. Living room with dining area (table and chairs) and a kitchenette. Steps to Pine Point Beach and 2 miles from Old Orchard Beach' s famous pier.
The space
Kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and pans. There is a small fridge, electric cooktop with 2 burners, toaster oven and small coffee maker. Full size sink and granite counter space.
The table folds and comes with 2 chairs. Extra chairs in storage bin in back of cottage.
There are a few beach chairs in the back. No beach towels.
We provide sheets, blankets, dish towels, bath towels.
Bedroom is equipped with double bed, night stand, dresser, wardrobe and various hooks.
Living room has a sofa which can turn into a double bed.
There are a bench and small table in the screened porch.
Table, chairs, umbrella and charcoal barbecue on the deck outside. Charcoal is not provided.
Interaction with guests
This is our vacation home and we are not local. Access is provided with keys in a lockbox.
I am available to answer your questions via text or the home away app.
Other things to note
TV and Internet are available starting next June. 2 bicycles will also be available for next season. Price reflects high or low season.
There are plenty of places nearby offering free Internet.

Summary: First, the house is very cute and comfortable. We appreciated the space heater because it got chilly at night! Maybe it's just because it's the end of the season, but the whole house needed a good scrubbing. There was mildew on the shower curtain, the kitchen sponges smelled terrible, and the carpet had spent too long being damp. We also had a lot of trouble finding the place. We arrived after dark and couldn't locate the cabin because we weren't told what cabin number it was or how to get to it once we were on the property. We had to use our phone flashlights to match the listing photo with the cabin, then hope we weren't breaking into someone else's cabin. One thing to add to the kitchen would be a tea kettle for the cooktop or an electric kettle.

Summary: It was a very quiet and secluded a cabin, compared to those around us, and yet so close to the ocean, and very good restaurants nearby. Perfect for anyone trying to get away for a peaceful time together!

Summary: Easy walk to the beach. Small kitchen. TV was difficult to turn on and get channels. The screen door and front door have an open space at the bottom of the doors and twice a chipmunk entered the house through the space. Could probably use a paint touch-up job. All and all it was a convenient place to stay.

Summary: Excellent except for big black ants in house, that didn't bite or sting so with us being from Arizona didn't bother us since almost all ants bite or sting there. Setting is quite private considering how congested area is. Beach is wonderful and close.

Summary: This little place was great! We just got married and we chose this little place to stay as we explored portland! We were greeted with flower and chocolates it was really thoughtful! Anyways it fit our needs for what we were looking for. It is a bit tiny but basically we just slept and showered but would stay again!

Summary: The place was cute and clean. Just a little to small for us and I was thinking it was closer to the beach. I like to cook so the kitchen did not really work for us. I think it is A great place for a couple who will be going out to eat most of the time Love the area. Will definitely be back just may be in a bigger house
